400W CMH

400W CMH

i have a 400w cmh in cool tubes (horizontal) over each 2'x2' E&F tray.
i have 2 trays.
i also have pot that i grow under em (can you believe it?)
i also have pics of that devil weed

strain is Jack-O-Nesia (amnesia haze x jack herer #22) by Karma Gentics
taken at 89 days and drying.

i been running cmh's for about a year and a half on these tables
2 words,
LOVE EM!
plants get a lil leafier under the cmh's imo, but i feel i get more frost.
not to mention i can veg and flower under the same bulb!
suck it hps!

I like my CMH but feel i need the stretch that HPS promotes. I dont get any stretch under CMH. I love CMH for vegging though. I think from now on i'm gonna veg under CMH, stretch under HPS than switch it back to CMH in late flower. I've only been using my 150w CMH, will be upgrading to a 250w though.

Than again i think the Retrowhite are probably better for the whole stretch thing since the metal halide versions have more blue..

One thing i notcied is that the plants seem to be able to get closer to these bulbs without burning compared to HPS. Also the leaves stay soft under CMH.

no leaf burn here from the light.
flush mode in the one suspect pic.
any other burn you might see in my albums are from user error, not the cmh.

everybody elses gear looks top notch!
