Man I have totally had it with this shit.I've lost 1 outboard motor, two lawnmowers, one weedeater and it looks like one pressure washer this morning. They have this stuff called stabil but I found it worthless for ethanol. And there isnt a single gas station in my county where I can get 100% gasoline,I'd have to drive 100 miles.Anyone else losing gas appliances because of the fuckin feds?

All the gas in my are says its 10% ethanol. I've read on more than one occassion about how ethanol actuall causes more problems then it solves. Hemp oil would be a better alternative but like they say you can lead a horse to water but you cant make him drink.

On a side note, fuck corn, corn syrup, ethanol they can all lick my chode.

Ethanol is a scam, it was lobbied for by the ADM, Monsanto and other huge Agri businesses to get more money in subsidies for them selves. The racing fuel thats sold for a much higher price is nothing more than regular gas that hasn't had alcohol mixed in it, so you pay for what you used to get at any gas station. What a rip.

Wow, I haven't had a problem at all with all my lawn equipment.. Works good on ethanol... Strange....

No problems with the 10% Eth here either. What exactly is the ethanol doing to your fuel/air delivery or combustion systems? Plugs fouling? Did it burn a hole in a piston? Are lines and seals swelling (think turpentine on an O ring gasket or cylinder boot)?

Go to your local airport and get some avgas.

Contact your congressman and tell him what a horrible thing that bill has done for his constituents and recommend its repeal.

my small engines are not running as good as they used to. I just had to replace the carb on my stihl weedeater.

Ethanol sucks.

You get what actually looks like corn oil in the ports and injectors.I cut my folks grass with their riding lawnmower and half the time I'll have to whack it with a tool right before the carb to get it to start.

Been using it for 5+ yrs and never had a problem. Weird. I have to think something else is going on.

i hate putting it in my car too, i drive cross country a couple times a year and when i was heading through nebraska and iowa i noticed that they sell mid grade for cheaper than regular because it has more ethanol in it i think, well it gave me the crappiest gas mileage so im more keen to buy gas that has less of the stuff in it, i get better mileage every time

I heard its a bad idea to start using ethanol on an engine that been ran on straight petrol, but who knows.. In that same respect I hear its totally fine to use ethanol on a brand new engine and continue to use it.. now I'm no mechanic so maybe I'm falling for some retarded bullshit I heard from some idiot along gthe way but I don't touch the stuff.

You sort of hit the nail on the head any new fuel injected engine should run on it ,when you put it into an old carbureter style engine you get trouble with the ethalol deglasing the fuel system and causing blockages. we rolled this shit out here in OZ a couple of years ago, glad I got turbo deisle!

is ethanol really the problem here or is it your gas storage container?

newer models of lawn equipment are made to use ethanol

store ethanol in a plastic gas can over 30 days and it eats the plastic and breaks down the plastic, then you put that gas thru your equipment and it fucks the carburetor and fouls your plugs

just use a metal gas can after youve cleaned your plug and replaced your carb.
