We all have friends and family in the service.
Hats off to you all. Everyone deserves the right to free choice of medication, if anyone vets. Every drug has its purpose...

Glad to see the loss in tax dollars has slowed law enforcement war against us pot heads. God know they were trying to smell my ass see what turns up.

A good friend of mine went to the promise land or Calf. some where near Oaksterdam. His family that live there were openly hitting a joint walking down the street. He couldn't get use to that at all. Here if you dare to smoke outside your heads on a swivel looking for the "donuts patrol". Mostly we smoke hidden in our homes and praying the smoke doesn't carry out side the house watching for our neighbors. While listening for the late night knock....

5th generation US Veteran here ... USN Submariner. Very Lucky to have come out of my active duty intact.
I have some complications due to my 9/11 search and rescue work at ground zero, but still very lucky in that respect too.

good to hear of this progress for my brothers. I hope the movement continues further in this direction.

I was injured off the coast of Grenade during the war or the vacation season I was never very sure which it was. I was order to go up on the flight deck and help move a patrol boat cradle unknown to anyone the hook from the crane was rest on top of the cradle. We pushed the hook came down hit me on the head knocking me out cold. Another sailor on deck picked me up ran me to sick bay. Normally they would call a med vac to send me to the carrier for xrays and to see the doctor. But they couldn't do that without admit I was on the flight deck without a hard hat a fed law. They had hard hats in supply but if they issued them because then they would have to buy more. Then they could spend as much of the ships money on fine dinning for the officers. So I got two aspirin 24 hours of bed rest then return to normal duty. About 10 years later my back went out surprise surprise. The Doctors did a MRI and found out the hit compressed most of the disc in my back and cracked my skull. So Now a days I don't have a bad disc but many. Plus the fun and games of long term chronic pain.

Do any of you go to the VA hospital ? The one I go to is way downtown and most of the building around it are burnt hulks. Just last week I had to go in for blood test. I had my teeth cleaned at the Dental clinic at the hospital. Turns out they didn't clean there dental tools and pass around HIV etc. There now testing 10000 of us to see just how many have been infected. :tiphat:
