You have to love how we totally abuse the shit out of everything we think 'comes cheap'.

We destroy the oceans, watertable, use hydrofracking, and basically polute the shit outta the source of our life.... Then we look to space for more water. LOL

We worry space aliens will come and enslave us and take our natual resources, yet one of our highest space goals is to mine the moon and mars for water (fuel).

HBO Docu Gasland its all about how Natural Gas Wells are destroying the US watertable.

I guess if the dont destroy it quick enough, it will all be gone 25-300 years from now.

Excuse me waiter, can i have another glass of benzene?

I have seen gasland and it only validated why we need to figure out a way to insure we don't apply these contaminants to our skin, ingest it, etc.

skagit valley wa, skagit river, judy reservoir

NOTES:
SRL (State Reporting Level): indicates the minimum reporting level required by the Washington Department of Health (DOH).
ND (Not Detected): indicates that the parameter was not detected above the Specified Reporting Limit (SRL).
Trigger Level: DOH Drinking Water Response level. Systems with compounds detected in excess of this level are required to take additional samples. Contact your regional DOH office.
NA (Not Analyzed): indicates that this parameter was not analyzed.
Comments:
FORM: IOC_ST
MCL (Maximum Contaminant Level) maximum permissible level of a contaminant in water established by EPA; Federal Action Levels are 0.015 mg/L for Lead and 1.3 mg/L for Copper. Sodium has a recommended limit of 20 mg/L. A
blank MCL value indicates a level is not currently established.

now what? skagit river, wa
I SPENT 15 MINUTES STRAIGHTENING OUT THE COLUMNS AND WHEN I PUSH 'SAVE' THIS IS WHAT I GET: NOTHING!

MS: Thank you for posting that. this is supposed to relatively healthy water, huh? amazing what's in it... I can only imagine what I'll find in my L.A basin test.

well read the bottom of the page mofo, ND means None Detected. those ND's are all under the Results column. it has to be over the "trigger" to be detected. like i said i spent a long time making that chart easy to read by straightening out the columns but i used spaces instead of periods. i think dots would have held them in place after i pushed save it all came back exactly as it was. i removed the link to skagit pud. i can put it back if you want to go to the site and have it 10x more readable.

btw there is an vote coming up about adding flouride to the water. don't have any idea what that would do do you??

go here if you want to be able to make any sense out of that table: http://skagitpud.org/docs/2008623VOC.pdf

This will be a mute point IMHO....according to national studies California has only 20 years left an they will be OUT of water. Mexico will be out of water in 10 years at curent rates.

In states like Michigan Nestle who is the main owner of all botled water sales has sucked parts of the state dry and is now SELLING the state's own water back to them.
