Well as the title states let see it!

I'm starting my first V-scrog and would like to see how others beside myself, do work. Here is my first day of flower, and also i put my screen in today.

This is going to be the most difficult scrog/grow i have ever encountered.

This 150w CMH doesnt throw heat which is a great thing for getting close. These plants only burn when they touch the bulb, i've never seen that. Usually if my plants even get remotely close they get scorched! These grow have no problem growing within inches of the bulb.

So regardless of your size or wattage lets see how you do your Vertical Growing!

I'm glad a thread like this was just brought up. I currently don't have a digital camera, but I can explain my scenario so others can get the picture. When I get a camera, I'll gladly post pics of the whole thing.

I've converted a spare dresser I had lying around (15"L x 15"W x 37"H) into a very unique micro vertical space.

As you can tell by the dimensions, I have 1.25ft x 1.25ft of floor space to work with. In order for me to maximize the interior to the fullest extent, I decided to install 2 T5 (3ft) florescent fixtures. One veg spectrum, and one flower. I installed these back to back, running vertically right down the middle of the cabinet.

My containers are 4 square pots measuring 7"x7" each that I put in each corner. They're about 9" off the ground, giving me a total of 28" vertical space of plant growth. I'll be using my regular program of Canna Coco with H3ads modified lucas formula. GH Rare Earth (Diatomaceous Earth) to provide silicates, humates, and most importantly, pest control. Although I haven't had a problem with mites or anything yet, I feel DE is very beneficial.

I am in the process of finding a solid wire-type fence to use, just like the one in your pictures. The pots will hold clones from my Speed Queen mother for about a week or 2 before flipped. The screen will be used to maximize the area covered. Since T5's don't have particularly good penetration, I thought this would be the most efficient use of space.

For ventilation, I have a passive intake near the back-bottom that is blocked off with a clean black tshirt to prevent light leaks.

When the time comes, I'll be building a custom carbon filter like the one from pigpens thread: https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=86726 - and attaching it to my 120cfm heavy duty pc exhaust fan. The fan will be placed at the top corner of the cab. I still need to measure out and cut a sizable hole to place this in.

I'm very excited with this project. After reading most of the vertical/micro threads over the past year, I haven't seen a vertical with T5's like this before.

39W per T5 x 2 = 78W of total power used for lights in an area covering approx. 12"L x 12"W x 28"H after the screen is installed!

What strain are you running? What are your dimensions and how long are you planning to veg for? Clone? Seed?

Sounds very interesting. Our cabs are very similar. My floorspace is 16.8x16.8 which is why everything looks so packed in there.

I was going to place some PL-L's vertically in my cab to get lighting to the back but it seems to be a waste and uncessary. Once i'm able to start screening the plants in there it should be a lot easier.

So far i have seen a drastic growth improvement. plants really grow a lot each day being so close to the 150w CMH.I was never able to go my pants this close to the direct lighting before and i dont think i can go back.

Things are going to get interesting since this is mt first time running vert.

I vegged for 4 weeks from seed. I'm running 2 C99, 2 The Prophet and 2 Mob Boss. Today is day 4 of flower...

Im really not sure how to weave them threw the fence yet i've done many flat scrogs so any branches that grow threw i just pull back right? just like a flat scrog?

no but i can post up pics here, they have now been weaved threw the fence and after doing that i saw some others just plop them in front of the fence instead of in back oh well.... if any wanted to know the strain is og kush (sfv) an since ive been reading on how lanky and stretchy it is i thought it would be a great canadate.

Hey drymouth, cool grow you got going there. It seems your the opposite of my grow. Weaving vertically has become harder, yet easier at the same time. I say this because it seems to works better than just a flat SCROG, but is annoying for me since my screen and cab are so small.
