Pll's(220/270watt) vs hps(250watt)

Do they compare in terms of yeild?

im just wondering, if they do compare, why doesnt everyone who has a 250hps doesnt convert?

saving vital inches in terms of height, the ease of cooling and more efficient spread of light.

both possess reflectors
but im wondering if comparable yeilds can be attained with pll's why arnt they used?

btw, here are a couple pics of my PL-L clone box,
as i've never flowered with PL-L's, i'm not the guy
to ask but superpedro has run HPS and is now a
PL-L guy so he'll know how they compare.
