Blue sat 2.2 or Blubonic??? which to choose?

I've just seen a wicked deal on SOL genetics on Seedbay, BS2.2 or the Blubonic both are only around $40. Which to buy? I'm not really in the money right now so I think I'll have choose one, though I'd really like both. Anyone who's grown either of the strains please chime in...

I germed a SOL BS 2.2 recently.... only 2 sprouted, 1 of em i don´t know if it´s gonna make it, very slow and weak, the other one looks good. A few of the other seeds cracked a bit, but they did´t have enough power to continue and died after some days.
Looks like old seeds but i bought em a month ago.

We've picked up a pack of each - BS 2.2 few weeks ago, and just bought the Blubonic today. I wanted the BS 2.2 more, but the others are also excellent reviewed strain. These are 1/2 to 1/3 of the price even a few months ago.

Gypsy said these are both new batches, not older stock. I know there are other sites selling them, but Koot said SBay/Sboo are the only genuine authorized retailers. Germ rate should be 100% or close to it.

I wanted to point out 1 thing....

I think the SOL package is a SHAME!!! Only a paper envelope with no kind of info and not even sealed..... aren´t we in the 21st century??

When I look at ACE or Cannabiogen for example I see absolute quality packages + they have a production date and an expiry date..... It was the first time i bought at SOL and it was disgusting to see this poor paper envelope for the seeds. One of the worst if not the worst I´ve seen.... I thought they were a quality company? But seems i was wrong.

I didn't know what the seeds came in determined their quality. Dubi and Charlie G make great seeds but Breeder Steve does too

Both of these were announced as seedbay freebies, which means you can order one and request the other as a 5-pack freebie. There are a bunch of other great freebies too but I don't know their current availability and it's not a guarantee you'll get what freebie you request.

If you want a better probability to get your seeds sprouted so you don´t waste your time and money u should care about how the seeds are packed. A paper envelope and in extense the seeds they contain are exposed to all kind of enviromental conditions, humidity, bacterias, etc.
There should be a production date aswell or an expiry date, if the seeds don´t germ, u´ll receive a new pack. That is called guarantee. But only a few breeders do it.
That is what i was talking about, not about the quality of the genetics.

You may have not meant to judge a company based on the package they put their seeds in that you throw away, but you did according to your sentence heh.

Personally as a consumer I want the cheapest damn package they can possibly put them in so I am not footing the bill for something that I am simply throwing away after opening. If a born on date is important type it on the plastic bag's paper insert...No more jazzed up packaging I foot the bill for in the end of things please.

On another note I have not grown the BS 2.2 out but I have acquired 5 packs of this and Bluebonic. Since BS 2.2 is the basis for the SOL's current line up, I would say its probably fantastic. I have Bluebonics at day 41 now and they look incredibly frosty with great berry jam scents. I have fully grown out twice and now on my third time SFV OGK x Bluesat 2.2 that is not on sale and this was my favorite pot outside of rez's gene pool and my recent GHS SLH grow...It reeks and the flavor on the tongue is amazing.

In short the BS 2.2 is probably just as bomb as everything else out of SOL's offerings.

In closing I really hope GHS changes their damn packaging. I hate it and every other gigantic packaging system they use for weed seeds that makes it difficult to open as well. Spilling beans everywhere trying to open a package is annoying...I end up like the guy on peter pan looking for his marbles...

No that´s not true. The quality of a product and the quality of a company are distinct things. A company is an organisation composed by different things. Not only a product.
For example if u go to a restaurant and the food (product) tastes good, but the restaurant is dirty, it´s not a quality restaurant in all ways. Do you agree?
