Like Frank said check out Mexican haze from Kiwi. I just ordered a pack should be here anyday. Reeferman had alot of mexican genes back in 04, 05. I'm pretty sure Ace had some to before, Actually I think he still does.

mexican sativa is one of the best in the world if you can find it. Lots of the (what indica lovers on here call schwag) brickweed can be used to find a mom. I have a mex sativa mom I use that I got from a $25 quarter bag of brickweed. Marijuana Man from pot tv...I think mexican sativa is in his top 3 fav strains ever. Once you grow out some seeded brickweed, it is a totally different world. In my opinion, mex sativa is better than 99% of what people grow on icmag. Good luck & stay safe.

Any more pics of the Astur Mexicana? Do they always have red stems? I got some free beans at the club and the plants look JUST like your pic RED stem and all! They are really short though. Never seen any plants quite like them.

Asturjaya is a real purist, I trust him more than most banks...

yeah plenty of seeds here in texas, i only get seeds from the best i find-like i said - i stay near border so see alot thru out the year late aug-dec-is whn the best comes thru-the brick weed usually goes to the big cities in texas-here near border we get the best out the bunch, to be honest have seen a good mixture of indica dominant plants that i gro out from the beag seed-

Here are some shots of a Oaxacan Highland sativa from Kangativa:

Kangativa crossed this strain to NL#5Haze in the mid nineties producing a hybrid whose genetic makeup is remarkably similar the Mexican Haze from Kiwi seeds. I can't vouch for the Mexican Haze, but if it's anything like the Oaxacan Highland Haze aka Oaxacan Space Shuttle, I'd buy it. The Mexican sativas seem to cross incredibly well to the NL#5Haze, producing a high that is truly stratospheric.

Oaxacan Space Shuttle:

The flowers have a sweet lemon sorbet fragrance with undertones of hash.

on mexi hybrids i grew, i can recommend one from CannaBioGen, is their latest 100% sativa hybrid, wich is Nepal/Jamaica85 x Oaxaca79. Incredibly fast for a 100% sat, and has an awesome incense smell and taste, along with a mellow happy high, very well balanced effect. Both taste and effect are very unique and different from most of the weed available today.

I have always heard of early maturing mexican landrace (or perhaps indigenous would be a better term?), but don't know that I ever encountered it before. Any mexican seeds that I have cast took much too long to finish outside. But then, I always just had seeds from bricks or plates of smuggled shit.
Maybe the kingpins have always wanted to keep the good lines south of the rio grande?
I do know that Mexicans can be a very proud people, and do things like keep all the good Kaluha in Mexico and export the second boils of it. lol...but then Kentucky keeps all the good Jim Beam for sale in the Commonwealth and sends out all the rest to the world. (bet you didn't know that..lol)

ANywho...
I think maybe Astur Jaya may be offering the short maturation time mexican that has been kept hidden for years from the rest of the world. OR...maybe he is a bit off on his times? Pure Mexican sativa that finishes end of Sep, 55-65 days indoor....

i could't agree more with your second from last sentence, ive smoked maybe 4 or so times in over fifteen years when ive actually said to myself,'' wow this is better then good mexican '', usually im dissapointed an would prefer sun grown slightly seeded mexi since it does the job
