My plants release a puff of odor every day at lights-off!!

It's really amazing to me, for some reason, but I've noticed a pattern happening for the last 5 or 6 days now, and my girlfriend has confirmed it...

My photoperiod is set from 11pm to 11am, and every morning at 11:02 (according to the clock on my computer here) I catch a super strong whiff of the flowering Lemon Haze in my cabinet! Now, based on the fact that the cabinet has a carbon scrubber that definitely works, as I don't normally smell anything when the cabinet is all closed up, I can only conclude that each day when the lights go off, the plants just release a poof of odor that is very concentrated, and it somehow makes it out of some micro leaks in the cabinet or something...

It's just amazing to me!! It's definitely been happening for the last 5 or 6 days, and it always happens right at 11:02. It's like the plants are saying, "Aaaahh... That was such a wonderful day, now it's time to go to sleep!"

...And then they exhale a sweet, sweet fragrance to go to sleep to.

^ LOL, thanks! Yeah, this is my first time flowering in a cabinet, and I definitely only began smelling it about a week ago, and not sooner. All my previous grows were done in entire spare bedrooms, separated from the common areas of the house, so I guess it's the close proximity to the cabinet that is causing me to experience this. The cabinet is back here in my computer room, about 8 feet away from me, and I most definitely do not smell it any other time while the cabinet is sealed shut except for 11:02 AM every day. It trips me out! I love this plant! :D

They can't let em rip with the lights on. They need some privacy, nobody wants the others to know who plooted.

I use one-way intake vents that are balanced and swing open with negative pressure and swing closed to prevent backflow when exhaust fans are off.

If they aren't perfectly balanced, meaning a square wall to hang from, they can leak. Believe me, I know. I love Sour D. My wife says it smells like stepped on fresh dog shit! AK47 can be smelly too.

If your exhaust fans are on the same timer as your lights, and they both turn off at the same time, you could be getting a puff of back flow from your grow.

I keep the exhaust on 24/7.

Otherwise, your grow can't be very tight or there simply wouldn't be a smell. Keep the scrubbers on!
