Excuse for big wooden cabinet?

To get to my room you need to walk by my big wooden cab. It's 4x4x7 and in an awkward location and has a padlock on it. Most people don't say anything but once in awhile somebody would ask "wtf is this?!" or "shouldn't this SHED be outside?" etc.

What excuses would you guys use here? Plumbers etc also walk passed it to do their job.

Gun cabinet maybe? Or just say a storage cabinet. No need to give a big explanation.

Who's asking? Friends? Roommates? You don't have to tell the plumber anything. Hell, if there's that much traffic walking past it just tell them you're keeping some of your stuff secure because you've had stuff stolen in the past.

hmm i was thinking the exact same thing.. my box is hopefully going to be in a garage so itll be a little better, but i would say maybe ur into doing your own photography and its a dark lab or maybe gun safe... we need more ideas!

have you thought about somehow disguising it? maybe painting it white to blend in and put a curtain on the side to kinda hide one side?

"That, the shed shouldn't it be outside?"
