What kind of Coco are you using? I had some mushrooms pop up in a plant that was flowering in coco about a month ago. I hadnt ever seen that in coco before. I was using botanicare compressed coco.

cool man, try throwing some p. cubensis spores on this coco now :)

Shit, dont do that, the chems from the mushrooms will mix with your Pot and you'll have the trippiest shit in the world and Peole will be knockin down your doors fiendin for it. ;)

When I used to use coco (Canna & B'Cuzz) I'd get shrooms and other hitchhikers on a regular basis.. I used to find pieces of plastic and metal in it too. It was too inconsistent and didn't seem very clean. That's why I stopped using it..

You had that happen in Canna Coco? Iv been running Canna coco for years and never seen such a thing its the cleanest media iv ever used. Great stuff..

Now that I think about it, and look at some of my old bags, I realize that I mostly used B'Cuzz. I think I was using Canna when I first started using coco and then switched to Atami B'Cuzz because it was more readily available and cheaper.. I also now remember that I never saw any hitchhikers during my 1st year using it, which would make sense if I started with Canna.. btw - the hitchhikers were only one of the reasons I stopped using it, the main reason being that I had a hard time getting rid of my used medium ;)

So yeah, not dissin' Canna.. but watch out for the stuff you find in B'Cuzz coco!

Tommy Trichome, I've gone through more pallets of Atami/B'Cuzz bagged 50L coco than I can remember, yet I don't recall seeing anything like what you mention.

Only times I've had any mushrooms growing was in Botanicare ReadyGro bags, and in every room that used 'em.

I don't have any pics, but I know for a fact that I had many mushrooms, blades of grass, and other hitchhikers pop up in my 5 years of using coco (and yes, I've gone through many pallets of the stuff too). And the only two brands I ever used were Canna and B'Cuzz. So take it or leave it, but it's true..

I gotta say whenever I see weeds pop up in my coco I have a psycho moment where I almost let them live for a minute until I think about their roots strangling my herb. They made it all the way from Florida to my house and it's a shame to kill em now!

I landscaped for a living years ago and a truck of trees showed up at the jobsite from Florida with a newborn litter of kittens in it. The mom jumped out and scurried and there they were. Now I do not like cats generally but when the boss said just toss them on the road and keep on working I had to put them in my car and took them to the vet after work to be saved. Every time I see a weed pop up that shit plays out in my head again but now I just kill em (the weeds).

Yea, psycho. I hear smoking cannabis helps with that :D

Go to shroomery.org and ask the mushroom growers. Yheyll tell ya to add trichoderma, thats like their nemesis.

Bring your humidity down. If you can exhaust fresh air through the room constantly that would be good.

Were you running sealed? I had this happen years ago from a bad batch of sunshine advanced mix. CO2 levels were unusually high and there was a sweet smell like a mushroom farm. I took the plants out of the sunshine mix and put them in hydroton to finish the run.

If you do this, don't try to rinse all the coco off the roots or anything, just take the whole root mass and carefully put it in something else. Don't worry if there's a little coco still on there, if the room dries out it will be fine.

I just found nails used nails that are bent.. inside of bags of fox farms ocean forest.!!!. lastnight I was transplanting. and found them. and I was like wat the fuck. brand new soil out the bag lol.

whatever .. I cant change it now. I am doing a soil grow. then going back to coco

The soil is probably taken and sold off a contruction site, thats only reason I could there is nails in it. Somtimes when your driving too, you see huge hills of dirt from some kind of construction nd there is a big sign plunked on it. "Soil for sale call xxx- xxx- xxx".
