ha ha ^^^^ when i lived in florida i played with aligators up to 4 ft. never seen such a tough predator. their skin is so tough and their all muscle and teeth. man did i get stoned in the everglades. i caught many of baby aligators when fishing at night for bass and such. i loved the sound they made calling momma

At what point do the bar owners and bartenders take some responsibility?

I am sure they had no problem serving him until he was cocked as long as he was spending money. Once he got to drunk they threw him out.

As a former bar manager we were responsible to ensure everyone's safety.
If you were too drunk you were not let in,getting too drunk cut off, and if they got too drunk at the end of the night we called them a cab....or tried to find ways for them to get home safe.

I actually had one scare the crap out of me in GA while doing some bass fishing. Found a little trail through some trees and bushes. As soon as I stepped into the opening by the water. There was water thrown all over me. Looked to my left and there was a huge alligator taking off. Almost pissed myself.

The rest of the day I could hear him pissed off at me. I dont even know how I missed him in my peripheral vision when I walked up...he was probably only 5 or 6ft off to my left.

Out of all the hard drugs and narcotics I've taken in my 35 year career as an nearly functional user and abuser,excessive alcohol always made me seem unbalanced and I did things I wouldnt have considered sober.Other opiates and such had more of an opposite effect,you find yourself wanting to be generous to a fault and such and want conflict as much as a toothpick in the peehole.Das boozen has taken my father along with many other relatives but only one drug overdose during all those years.Mixed feelings are hard enough to deal with.I think the alcolol trumps the rest in actual misery for larger amounts of people

The difference is with the average person smoking good cannabis,they stop at a time when they feel good for the most part.With alcohol the first time you start to feel good just indicates its time for more alcohol so as to feel even better which always leads to the lush staying behind bars while the stoner spends the night in his/her own bed.If harmfulness from alcohol could possibly be compared to the harm caused by all other drugs combined,I think we would all be a lil surprised

The average person drinking alcohol usually stops before wrapping their cars around poles or riding crocs.

I'm not saying that pot is harmful.

I'm saying that alcohol shouldn't be villified for the sake of holding up cannabis as the only substance worth your time.

mmm you dont need anyone to villify alcohol,it speaks for itself.I dont use the detriments of alcohol to make erb look better,its just not necessary.Like I said the drug speaks for itself and anyone with an alcoholic in the family knows what I'm talking about.Hell in the past I was in better control of my life shooting dope than my dad was drinking alcohol!

I have no doubt that you could control yourself. I have lost friends that thought they could too.

I also believe that your father may have been out of control.
