dude are you high? i said that i bought those seeds and that they are feminized. therefore no pollen sacs and i'm not going to make more seeds cause i've never made any lol

i'd stop bending the branches down as soon as you set them on flower or at last 1 week into flower.

It depends how high you can get with your light - These sativas can get really high

Unfortunately, that isn't always an option. For some, it's called running out of head space 3 weeks into a 20 week grow. Now, if we had an extra 15-20 feet of head room and say 3-4 1K lamps all stacked up...

Me? I got a 250 and about 20". I never let a sativa off the screen.

They still have the ability to self pollinate (i.e. a pollen sac/"yellow banana")

All that label means is that there will be a 99% female to start with. They are probably treated seeds but the old method was called playing with herman. Hermanning meant stressing the plant until it produced its own pollen which can be done i.e. irregular light cycles, overflowering.

Which is a big controversy over using fem seeds because you are breeding hermanism into your stock. That's why I asked if you are making seeds.

Any way case you were wondering how to make seeds. Once the pollen sacs are hanging down within a couple days they will open, by that time the plant should be in its own space (cfl in a closet will work) with no fans. Once the sacs start opening get some white paper, shake the pollen on the paper, then with a slightly damp q-tip or paint brush dipped in the pollen, tap the applicator onto the pistils of buds you wish to pollinate, 4 weeks later, harvest the seeds, let them dry out for about 4 weeks then throw them in the fridge, in another 4 weeks they're ready.

ah ok then it was a misunderstanding... yeah i know the risk of hermaphrodites in a stressed ambient,. hope it doesn't happen though. thanks for the input though

high! i know it looks a little messy, but it's an ordered mess there's buds coming from everywhere. the budshots are from the hawaiian snow, ssh buds aren't there yet - only some pre-flowers.







the tips of some leaves are turning a lil yellow. anyone have an idea what the cause for that is?

about 25 days. the room is over 3 meters tall with roughly 1 square meter of screen.

Have you smoked HS before?
is this the SSH in the back or is it another HS?

How do you manage to flush the runoff water? - I guess that the screen don't let you pick-up the pots much higher...

yes i've smoked hs just lately. a friend of mine grew it aswell
that branch is from the hs, the ssh only has some pre-flowers and nothing visible yet. she's in the back
...and you're right, flushing is kind of a problem here lol
