Thanks for cruising through everyone. I appreciate the comments. Nice to see some buddies from the Blumat thread.

I don't know if I mentioned it earlier, but I'm using the bone/blood/kelp/greensand recipe with a peat/perlite/ewc/dolomite lime base from the Organic for Beginners thread. I added some Biotone Super Starter Plus for fungi and bacteria. I tried adding some PBP Bloom soil formula to the rez for a little extra nutrient boost, but I burned the plants slightly. Liquid Karma seems to clog the drippers more than I care to put effort into maintaining the drippers, so I haven't been using it for the past few weeks. It's just been water and Sweet and they seem to be doing well.

I think 17 drippers per bed was overkill to be honest. I have one dripper dripping on each plant, plus another dripper in between. The drippers directly on the plants seem to be more than enough. The drippers in between really don't get that much action. More or less there for backup in my mind I guess.

I'm sure the drippers would perform just as well with a 7 inch deep bed. I don't see why they wouldn't.


I snapped some pics tonight. Day 49. I'm probably going to chop them down in a couple weeks. Anything over 9 weeks for both of these, in my experience, tends to make me want to take a pot nap, and I'm not too down with that.

nice run man. im in the process of debating if i want to try out the blumats. I almost positive im going to give em a run. I'd love to be able to add just tap water for the entire flower period.

Day 62 Update

Thanks for checking out my pictures everyone.

The Cheese cut I'm running is the Exodus UK Cheese.

Spanishwilly, I really hope I get at least 28 grams per plant, but these things are pretty big and chunky, I'd love to get 56 grams per.

Here are some shots from tonight. They're 62 days in. The cheese definitely look like they come down, but the chemds still have quite a few white hairs. I wish I had a loupe, but I'm sure the chems will have to go a bit longer.

I keep meaning to take the cam over to where the ladies-on-deck are. They are looking really lush and green. I'll be running Pre-98 Bubba, Free-For-All, and Cheese again. I'll also be throwing some Mango Haze in too a couple weeks after they go in.

Sorry I may have missed it, but how much PBP are you using for the Blumats? I think I saw something about half strength, Does that mean 15ml/Gal? I'm justrying to figure out how much I need to back off the PBP when I am using the Blumats which are no-runoff. Thx.
