Rip's Organic Garden

Time for me to start a new thread, I sidetracked myself trying OBBT's ( kind of an organic hydro/soil fusion ). Now back to a peat based mix like LC's, precharged with nutes, watered with ACTea's.

I planted an outdoor garden as well.

Strains: Jack Herer
Swiss Bliss
White Russian
Super Silver Haze
Dabney Blueberry
UK Cheese
Master Bubba Kush
Purple Kush
MK Ultra

On to the pic's, outdoor

Jack Herer, this started as a seed found in last years haul, I'm figurein' a seed off a female plant oughta be a girl, no? Anyway. it's the most vigorous plant out there!

There's 2 Master Bubba Kush's in that pot.

Indoors Purple Kush, this plant has been through alot, she's suffered and recovered, now she's 47days into flower.

PeterJ,

PK was from a clone aquired at an LA area dispensary

I grew out the another 2 I bought at the same time as lollipops, very small yield, these are slow growers. This PK was in veg for about 6mo.! When I ran into problems earlier, this girl was put thru the wringer, she's done well tho and I think she will yield OK.

The small amount off those lollipops proved tantalizing, very unique smell and taste. Can't wait, but I gots to. This whole growing thing has forced me to increase my patience beyond what I thought possible (relaxed patience was elusive at best).

Subscribed. I haven't been around much lately, been busy. Ordering some new seeds today (C99, AK47XC99 ) both from Joey Weed. So I hope that will get rid of my hermie problem. The WW I had from them hermied every plant and there were no light leaks or other stress.
I mixed a batch of soil yesterday, so it will cook while I wait for the seeds.
Sorry for the threadjack, good to see you again. Great looking girls BTW.

Nervous Morning...

Had to have a plumber come Rotosnake my kitchen drain. The only cleanout I have is right by my outdoor plants! The drain stopped up last Fri. eve. I used a hand snake and went all 40' down the cleanout, but the cleanout is on the far side of the house from the kitchen. I snaked by hand 25' down the kitchen drain line, then could go no further.

We waited till Tues. to call a plumber,

to avoid any holiday bonuses, he came 1st thing this am. Luckily, I explained clearly what I had already done with my old fashioned hand-me-down snake, and he never even needed to look at the cleanout, went right down the drain line under the disposer. At about 25' he hit a clog that went on for about 9', a flat spot in the drain line allowed buildup.

So he's come and gone, now I can breathe easier. I do not like strangers visiting for any reason. My dogs dogs provide an aggressive early warning system for anyone thinking of dropping by.

Wait let me get my camera and show you

Jack, sporting a Mohawk (does that make him a JackHawk?)

Jill, I tryed to give her a lion's mane, she rocked it last summer. Somehow, this year she seems to be channeling along more of a Gnu...or Jill-de-beast, if you will.

Peace Out,

A lil updatin',

Veg Cab is stuffed full, aand I've just taken a grip of cuts...gotta get my garden filled up.

Nugg shots of the MasterBubbaKush, chopped at 51 days, trimmed, and dried....60g. Thought I had a little more on there, but that's OK, very pleased with quality. Strong coffee aftertaste.

Purple Kush gets chopped tomorrow! 56 days flower.

Below is a pic of a horned UK Cheese, advice is welcome for remedy, she's been flushed till runoff was around 800ec,625tds, ph at 6.7. I've been letting her dry out cause I don't wanna keep it too wet. So far the curl has not eased up, I look at the new growth and think I see improvement, but as they mayure the leaves curl.

The Jack Herer below is in the same medium. This pot showed a high ec and tds. Flushed her out and got a positive response.

Thoughts and idea's are welcome.

Tactical, I measure everything in, and occasionally the runoff. To know your process, you must measure first!

Respect,

Don't know what I been thinkin', gotta post up here more regular.

Here's where I'm at now OutDoor

NOTE...the ladder in the neighbors tree next door! That Pepper tree blew over 'bout 15 yrs ago and he let it grow over into my yard. All he had to do was stake it up. Instead I've been hacking at it the last few years, and now with it trying to overgrow my garden area, I got more agressive with my pruning.

Well I guess he noticed that the 2/3rds of the tree that was hanging into my yard was gone! They've been trimming up what's left, don't know who's been up on the ladder. Most unsociable people in my hood. Neighbor's for 19 yrs. talked less than 10 times. They've raised 2 kids into their teens ( 1 boy, 1 girl) seen or heard the kids play in the backyard no more than 10 times.

I live in SoCal and I'm legal....well mostly....I'd rather not have the cops here though. Biggest concern is, I think he hired a couple of day laborers to do some cleanup. So I'll be sleeping in my garden from Sept. 1st, with my hairtrigger Aussie Dogs on duty.

Indoors, I chopped a MasterBubbaKush today. Most pleased with the buds, maybe my biggest yet off this strain. Enjoy

Took this one right at 56 days

Fantastic garden and cute pups!
Good luck with the neighbors... those aussies should be able to handle the potential rippers tho. ;) That MBK looks good...wheres it from?

Thanks Durka....may your grow be crystaly with trichs.

Red, my dogs hang so close to me. Pretty well trained, I take em to the park to play frisbee all the time. No issues ever....except rabbits/squirrels, seems really hard to heel in the presence of either!

I let them bark at the back fence, and the sidegate...and the front door. Nobody comes over with out hearing it. Once visitors are let in, they're back to being the funnest dogs.

Jack, he's the one sportin' the "hyena cut" can jump over your head going aftera frisbee, or dive 9' to the bottom of the pool to retrieve his torpedo

Jill is his sister sidekick. Haircut before last, I left her mane on. In stead of looking like a lioness, she looked like a wildebeast. Therefore she's rockin the lamb look.

Ramble, ramble...

I ate a couple brownie's earlier. When I trim, I save the sugary stuff aside. After drying I give it a quick QWISO...average yield about 8% of the dry weight. Then after drying, I stew the trim for 24 hrs. in a crock pot. 2 cups of cooking oil makes 3 batches of pretty potent brownies.

I have a pretty high tolerance right now, I tell patients I share with try 1/2, wait 1 hr. then eat another 1/2 if ya want. Most people don't enjoy the day/night wasted on the couch if you eat too much.

So, any way, I took pics in the garden today.

First up Dabney BlueBerry, there's 2 plants from clone in that pot

My son is partnering these 2 plants. He's throwing a mish mash of High Times hype... freebies from local events. He has doubt regarding my organic leanings.

Next, UK Cheese 2 in the pot again as well as from clone

2x Master Bubba Kush, from clone

Swiss Bliss from Paradise Seeds, planted 4 only 1 f.

Jack Herer from Sensi Seeds. I had 4 fem last yr (out of 6). We came across 4 seeds, they all germed...this one's my biggest best.

Looossing focus attention drifting eyes burning

I know my shit's locked down for the night Jack's chasing rabbits in his sleep

I'm fading out peace

Couple more pics from the garden.

Master Bubba Kush was almost done so I put it outside for a couple days of bright sun. It had a few mites onboard and I've been fighting them off, so when this plant had a couple live bugs on it, she was banished from the flower room.

As I lean in close to admire God's beautiful floral creation, I come eyeball to eyeball with this guy.

When I get back with my camera, the mantis has zeroed in on a small spider...you can see it there

A quick snatch, then a quick snack

I've been picking off these small green hoppers all season. They haven't been big enough to really worry about, then I found this fucker cozied right up to the stem. Prolly bout 1.5"

A quick snatch, but not a snack

So far this season I've sprayed the girls with azamax twice, and spinosad once. I'll probably do the spinosad twice more because last year Cabbage Loopers attacked and ruined one of my strains. 50% of my Swiss Bliss bud was full of caterpillar shit!

I enjoy learning in the garden, and I know some lessons will cost me, but feeding 1/2 a pound of beautiful potential to the Loopers sucked. Gotta admire natures diversity and stealth, but I'll be blowing the spinosad tomorrow!

Peace Out,

Seems like the plants in containers went into flower well before plants in the ground.
