I Grow my own vegetables

I supplement my heat with kerosene in the winter

I drive a 1991 honda civic 35+ mpg

I dry my damn clothes on a line in the summer

I grow my own bud.Oh yeah, we all do.:):)

And as my grandma said "decide what you want from the refrigerator before you open the door so you save energy"

That old bird is pushing 92 years and still messes with me

Grow vegies, can my own soups , meat ,veggies and make my own jams , wine and grow poppies . I do not like the crap that is put into beef, chickens and even fish that you buy so I go to a local reservation and shoot a buffalo at under $1 a lb because I cut , grind and process my own meat. I do not like anyone fucking with what I eat. too many horror stories of employees spitting and god only knows what in it. Deer and antelope are under $1 a lb after liscence and gas hunting it.

I try to make most meals at home, and so far our most expensive homemade meal has cost us about $4/person. Usually it is only $1-2 per person.

I also try to make money online..now I get almost $200/mo doing nothing lol.

I try to shop with a shopping list and when I'm not hungry so that I don't 'overbuy' food. I also freeze vegetables/fruits immediately when I get them home so that they won't spoil as quickly.

Thought of another one: you can buy a plastic popsicle maker (it comes with reusable plastic sticks) at a store like walmart or stop&shop ect.. it will only cost a few dollars and you will have it for ever! Also, you can mix and match your own flavors with juice to stay cool on hot days. Me and snype are eating pink lemonade popsicles right now :yummy:

re seal your windows and doors. Also get new spray in insulation done. It cost about 1000 bucks but there is an obama tax credit for it that pretty much pays for it. Plus its saves on electricity big time. My friends electric bill dropped 100 bucks a month from 350 to 250 on average.

then save up 500 and invest in a cd or gold or something

smart poor people save up there money and invest it in low risk investments, then use the some of the interest they make to buy what they want instead. It takes longer but you get to keep your original money, and get a newer model of what ever product you want anyways because you waited.

know where you're going to spend $$$ that day?
look for online coupons, brick & mortar retailers
love to see you're using the net to shop @ their
stores, they only way they have to assess that is
to offer coupons they'll hope to find in their tills.

yeah also i rip off hookers.I pay em half up front then i run.I think they are happy with half the money though no matter what.

^^^LOL that's sick! Ya wanna save money? If you don't live beyond your means, you'll stop giving your hard earned cash to the credit card companies. Lord know the banks already got enough money!

I have many ideas Id like to share, but it takes some explaining and understanding to get them down.

One of them is getting rid of your TV channels. This is something I did when I reevaluated my common entertainment practices. It is illogical to claim that a TV channel can offer any more than an internet connection. If you educate yourself enough, youll notice its much easier to watch any show or movie you want through a computer (or by connecting your computer to your TV or through a memory stick etc), without having to wait for the program at a fixed time and without having to watch through commercials (which are, according to me, bad for your mental health).
Personally I am not a typical person who works 9-5, and my opportunities of catching any program I want at fixed times are usually none. So why not just download it?
You dont have to get rid of your TV. Just stop paying TV channels for their shitty service which can be downloaded and used with much greater freedom.
With this, you do not only save the money you would have spent on the TV channels. You also save a lot of time by watching a program at your conditions, by not watching commercials or waiting in between commercial breaks, and you stop spending countless hours looking for something interesting while switching through all the channels.

STOP buying $5.00 coffee's, Red Bulls & 5 hour energy drinks every day, instead go to bed 2/3 hours earlier so you'll stop feeling shitty @ midday and save yourself about 200-300 bucks a month.......
