leaves feel dry.

I have a plant 7 weeks old, 2 weeks into flower. 12/12 from seed.
Problem like the title says is the leaves seem real dry. I switched to a different soil a couple weeks ago but the dry leaf problem started after I sprayed with Docs Bloom spray 3 days ago.

The plant doesn't seem to be under or over watered. I have no idea whats wrong. Doesn't seem to be life threatening but don't want it to become so, I also want the plant to put all its energy into bud production.

Hi SMP420
Well sounds like a nice gal there if she hasn't given you any issues til now. Well never spray anything during bloom. Buds are usually moist to begin with hence why you never want them clustered together. Spraying them is a nono.

Now I'm not sure if what you sprayed them was hot nute wise but I recommend you spray them again yes again. But this time with plain water. Just drench them at lights on so they dry up faster and don't spray them again after that.

ya shes a good plant. Was a runt I was actually getting ready to pull her when I saw some hairs sticking out. She was honestly a stem with a couple leaves but now shes gaining some nice size. Will take your advice.

Would heat have anything to do with it. They aren't dry like crumbly dry and dry to the touch. Its been in the 90's lately and when the lights are on later in the day Im sure the box has to get pretty hot (no thermometer).

For the Bloom nute should I just mix it in with the water?

EDIT: I take care to not spray the buds only the leaves lightly, as per directions on the bottle. Should I drop it or mix it with my water as I asked earlier?

90 is too hot but we won't go there. If she was in 90 degrees before you sprayed her and all was well then she'll be ok. If this happened after you sprayed then there goes your answer. You said you switched soil 2 weeks ago so this is fine too because she would have let you know she didn't like it within the first 5 days. As for bloom and ANY other nutrient. They are to be mixed in water first before applying them to your plant. Always dilute your nutes to half what the recommendation is on the bottle. If she takes it well then you can increase thereafter till you see a small leaf tip burn and then you know your limit.

Is this the only plant and if it is good luck bro It is a beautiful experience from beginning to end.

I have the lights coming on at about 6 in the evening so it isnt to hot, theres been a heat wave the past couple days where its been like 94 around 7pm. Its been pretty hot for the past week before I sprayed her.
I have two passive air intakes and a pc fan for exhaust. Dont know the exact size of it but it works well to expell the air.

I do use a dilute solution I ment should I mix it with the water that I use to water the plant or just leave it out and see how she does.

I started with 6 plants. 1 of them was the most beautiful healthy looking plants I had ever seen and it ended up male. I got 2 females out of 6. The other one looked like it was going to take alot longer than I expected it to so I chopped her. Ive tried growing probably 5 times and each time something catastrophic happens. Id like to get my first harvest then order some feminized seeds and take the cheaters way out. I can get pics of my setup and lady tmrw. my camera sucks but it will have to do.

Hey smokeymacpot420,
Normally I'll say add it but people seem to be pretty heavy handed with the nutes. If you're using pretreated soil and they are doing well without it then hold off till you see some yellowing of the leaves. With nutes less is really more.

Foliar feeding is best used as an emergency fix when you already see a deficiency. It's not good as a supplemental feeding method for a number of reasons. It is a very fast nutrient delivery method, but it's hard for the plant to absorb much NPK without being burned. That is easily complicated by the fact that the transcuticular pores and stomata are not always open for business, either because of environmental stresses, or because it's night. To make it work well, spray the undersides of leaves which have more stomata, and use a very weak concentration like brother SDG said.
