oh wise ones please share some wisdom. i've kept my grow room (1kw ,personal use) a secret just between me and my wife. i would prefer to no longer take my own car to the grow shop or have seeds sent to my place. my question is- if i have a friend that i really trust should i bring him into our circle (for rides and an alterate shipping address) ?

People are funny. They tend to get REALLY funny when shit hits the fan. Or, who knows, maybe he does errands for you, feels he isn't compensated w/ enough green and goes off the wall bat shit. Next thing you know he's bitching about this to his friend and without consciously recognizing it (because he's so pissed from being "used") exposes you and your op...

Order seeds to your house. Sleep safely at night. Unless your pumping out p's per month sleep soundly. You ever hear about people being busted from ordering seeds? No. You ever hear about people being busted b/c their carbon scrubber was under rated for their grow because they were too busy trying to find a safe addy to have seeds sent to, and didn't have enough time to find an adequately rated carbon scrubber? Yes.

If I were you having a safe addy would be the least of my worries.

use a grow shop outside of your town if need be or just park way the hell away. say your car is in the shop and ask family/friends to let you barrow their car.

This sums it up pretty well. Theres really only one person that knows I grow, and while I trust the guy, I really wish I would not have let on that I grow.

Your essentially gambling with your freedom by telling.

I team up with one other person for outdoor grows, and thats only because its too big of a job for me to handle alone. I let on to this person that I keep a small indoor grow, and next thing I know Im always getting asked to baby sit plants or take care of mothers because he doesnt want them at his house.

This past spring the guy showed up, unannounced with 24 seedlings he wanted me to veg for him under my lights....no fucking way.

Bottom line is once you tell your opening yourself up to alot of liabilities. They may not make themselves apparent right away, but at some point you will end up regretting telling people.

This and similar works for me with seed , you really dont need anything a hydro shop sells that cannot be sourced elsewhere and probably cheaper and local.

In the UK at least , there is near zero use of growing gear and consumables for non canna plants , merely visiting a hydro shop says I GROW WEED to anyone who sees you and puts you on the shops CCTV.

A little paranoia is a good thing to have , telling a partner was doubtless unavoidable but would not make it far worse for so little gain , getting busted or robbed is serious shit and not worth the risk.

- Grow Shop visit: Taxi down nearby, walk in, do BIG annual order and take different taxi home. Order On-Line or pre-order by phone?
