Using Same Water for Multiple Runs Of hash?

I

Iron_Lion

Long story short I have to use bottled water to make my bubble hash. I'd need like 2 gallons for the amount of trim I have, would it be ok to use the same water for like 2 runs of hash if i re-chilled by melting ice in it? This is my first time making real ice water hash with bubble bags.

After my runs, I simmer down the leftovers in the used water w/ a stick of butter or 2 for several hrs, reducing the liquid to where I can get it in a qt jar.
Strain the liquid into the jar, let it sit in the fridge, remove the butter that's risen to the top.
You'll have a few tablespoons of butter for edibles. ;)

Cool idea, I wish I had known that last light. It was a long night of hash making, I didnt get done til 11, then I dumped all my scrap into the compost heap.

I did a second run on all my leaf scrap and Im glad I did, I got 2 nice balls 73 and 25 from it.

You should always use Fresh Clean water for evrey new batch of Water Hash you process.

Using dirty water can leave a "rank" smell and taste in your Water Hash.

I used the same water for a few runs, no bad smell, no bad taste, it turned out to be some good hash.

Next time I'll go fresh, this time I was on a tight budget so its the way it had to be. It still turned out pretty damn good, I looked at the washed trim a day later, it was wiped clean of trichs.

I worked like a mad man to get all my hash processed, the water was still really cold. I think this made a difference, I would not recommend using water after it has gotten warm or even sat around for any length of time. I left the bucket of rinse water in my kitchen, a day later it was lookin and smelling pretty funky.

I'll tell ya, you may think so, but you make butter w/ that stuff, it'll blow you away!
I got a 1/4 c of butter back from 2 sticks, used it to make a canna-banana bread. Gave the loaf to friends. They took a 1" slice and cut it into 3 pcs. and became 3 bombed individuals! :D

My wife doesn't smoke, but is known to do edibles now & then.
So when our friends left, she decides to slice off a sliver from the loaf we keep in the freezer. Less then a 1/4", she got totally kooked!

What I'm sayin' is, 'waste not, want not'! :D

(and on top of that, I got 3 runs of hash!)

And yes, I use fresh water each run. ;)
