Air-Pot Size?

I plan on doing a 90 day grow in a DR100L with about 6-9 plants. What size pots should i get the 2.4 gal or the 3.4 gal? I know ideally a 3 gal pot would do the trick but Air-Pots only come in those sizes. I also intend to hand water these. Thanks

You've got a great idea there. I use a DR100 tent and I can tell you that 9 plants is a bit much. They start getting cramped and no light can reach the lower parts of the plant. 6 plants is a better idea because they all have more space to expand out.

As for the size of the air-pots it's up to you. I'd probably go with the larger containers and lower plant numbers.

Thanks FunkBomb, yeah that is what i was leaning toward and i would rather go bigger pot than too small. Yeah im thinking 6 plants is going to be more than enough for personal usage.

also you will lose 1/3 of the water out of all the holes and is very messy if you dont have a tray to capture the runoff. There is more work involved using these pots. You dont want to leave that water in the tray so clean up after every watering is mandatory

super roots airpots are available at allot of stores just check google. You can also make your own out of any pot. Just start drilling holes everywhere. I used the 7g version. They work good im not sure I would by anymore I would just make them Or get smartpots.
