Hi everybody,
First off I would like to thank all the people who have inspired me thru the last couple years and have shown to dedicate their time and Valuable information to help us all better understand this wonderful plant, Tom Hill top of the list, Nomaad ,Fisher, Humboldtlocal, just to name a few, Thank you so much to all who inspire us..

Ok . my Grow this year , May 25 started a little late for soil prep so we decided to to buy 8 yards of super veggie mix, == mushroom compost, humus, special compost, mixed and delivered, then we added 40 bags of roots organic, and chunky perlite , the mix turned out excellent, built all the raised beds approx 65-85 gallon, 3 at 100 gallon for thr blue dreams , then we bought 25 additional bags of roots for the additional Plants we potted directly into the bags, making our total of 51 plants
25 in raised beds, 26 in bags, the plants in the raised beds were all 2.5 ft, the ones in the bags are just clones planted on ju ly 1 , the Strains Are OG Kush, Blue Dream, Ice, Chemdog 91, Hashberry, Cholate Chunk, Hindu Skunk, Affgoo X Trainwreck
Purp Kush, Jack the Ripper

Thanks for cheking out my outdoor

And are you worried about your neighbors? It seems like they have a very nice view of your garden..

Hey Family, the cages are rolled 4x2 wire from home depot then we cut to the size we need, What neighbors? nobody can see, besides this is a grow for a collective here in cali so were all legal

I am loving all the backyard grows! Way to maximize your space.

What neighbors? Sure looks like a few structures have windows right on your garden.

I thought I saw some windows overlooking the garden? Yeah I'm sure legality is not a problem, but theft/rippers are always a big worry (at least for me) Do you do anything for security?

Oh and how much did the wires cost ya? I think I remember seeing them for about $100 a roll? or did you find something cheaper? and how many rolls did that require?

Family: I would use plastic trellising or field fencing rather than 2x4 welded wire. If you need to get inside your plants when they get big (and you will) the holes in this mesh will be too small. Not sure which of the OD grow this has become an issue, but there is one for sure. The user had to cut out some of the wire to create maintenance windows which left behind hazardous sharp ends... a little e-tape would probably do the trick, but not having to do it in the first place is always a better idea.

Thanks everybody ,

Family , nomaad is right, the wire is too small , use the 4x4 trellis type, I am sure i will have a few problems but we used what we had available on site, then my partner purchased one more roll the same size, they were about 25 bucks for 20 ft..
all in all we only spent $900.00 so far for everything except for the clones,

ah the neighbors, one of the buildings is empty and all the trees block the other one , but those peeps are really cool, and also we have Three dogs, if anybody tries they will shred them to peices

Thx for the tip, do you know anywhere to go or online only?

My advice is to go with bamboo stakes and plastic hortonova trellising. MUCH less expensive than metal caging.

Hey Ozone,

I would have to agree with Nomaad there. It is far more less expensive than wire caging. It is really important as well to make sure you can clean the inside of the plants. Thanks for sharing your garden. Great use of space for sure. Good luck this season.
