Pc test run, 1 lonely bag seed.

Well iv been all around this forum for months now and have learned so much! i think it is time i begin my first micro grow!

Iv got a simple pc case i believe it is 20" H. right now iv got a bag seed growing its little now but hopefully it will start growing fast soon!

I have the 3 23 watt 2700k CFL's and 1 27 watt 5500 CFL in right now. i have to get a few more lights and im running the lights 12/12!

Im not sure how to post pictures yet but as soon as i figure it out i will post that shit up!

Welcome to your first thread!!!!!!!!Right on Breezy1!!
If you go in to your IC, look on the left hand side for pictures and albums..then start a new album with all your pics downloaded from your computer...
when you have that done, every time you need a picture, open your album and drag it in to your post..
If you look up at the right hand corner when you are in Advanced mode, there are 2 small a's on the right top corner, click that then open your albums( the forum albums are right above where you are typing)....then drag pics as you need them..opening the small a's lets you see the pics as you drag them on your post..

BC's got the jist of it, but if thats far to complicated, i usually just upload them to imageshack.com and then click the little mountain thingy at the top of the box where you write in, and just insert link, to each his own!

welcome to the wonderful world of growing the devil's lettuce! my advice for your first time, keep it simple. you have visited my thread. creek water, lights and dirt. then let nature take its course. and so far its worked out pretty good. thats just my two cents. i will be keeping an eye on this one. good luck my friend! and i see these two knuckle heads have pointed you in the right direction for posting pictures. no worries bro. i had a tough time myself. but you'll get it down in no time!

hey breezy, nice case
in the pic the soil looks a little dry. those clay pots dry the soil out quicker as they are porous. i'd try giving it a decent bit of water, enough to wet the soil through.

I think iv got a problem.. My leaves look like they are turning brown and starting to shrivel up in certain spots. i tried to show you in some pictures but all i have is a shitty ass camera.

Iv been watering with Distilled water, i dont know if thats bad or good. I think im going to switch it up and sometimes water with tap water and sometime with distilled, and see if that makes a difference.


I germinated and planted a auto blue mystic a big ago but once it sprouted above the soil it shriveled up and died quik :-(

what sort of soil/nutes are you using?Distilled isn't the best to use..it has all the goodies taken out when distilled...unless you add superthrive or some extra vitamins..try just plain old ph 5 tap water...works wonders for me..
you also have to be careful of over watering too...when they are that small, i just wet the soil around the plant as needed..make sure not to use strong doses of nutes when your plants are small too...just baby steps..

Iv got MG potting mix and and Organic planting mix with spagnum peat moss,redwood compost, mushroom compost, worm casting, bat guano, kelp meal, feather meal and gypsum in it. I am using mostly the organic potting mix but iv added a touch of mg into it cause i had it laying around.

Iv also got fox farm big bloom. I was using it every other watering but iv stopped and flushed it since the leaves started to turn crisp and rot. now it is recovering nicely though except for one of the leaves is pretty much gone

Would be be okay to start up on the big bloom again but maybe chill out on the dosage? or is it still a bit too soon for it ?

Also does determining the sex make a difference if im doing 12/12 from seed?

Iv also started using my tap water instead of distilled.. Thanks BC, it seems to be helping alot!!


oh and iv planted a Hash spice seed as you can see today it poked its head out of the dirt!!

That was quite a turn around there Breezy1...she's looking much better. I think you were too heavy on the ferts...too hot.
