its high quality butane. showing the card was really weird and probably unnecessary but i really dont care who knows so i just whipped it out.

Tell me you do a good job when making that hash with the butane. Some of the shops around here sell that butane hash and it literally still has butane gas bubbles inside the hash. That shit is fucked....I know it can be done properly but seems like the shops here are having a hard time. now I know some that just do bubble hash i.e. stone mountain.

Not knocking anyone specifically but ISO & Butane hash are enemies of Cannabis. It's all a bunch of crack. Just say no to that unnatural shit. Wait until the masses hear about it. It will completely invalidate our industry and put us right back down in the gutter again with the tweekers. How do we justify our current stance of, "it's just a plant that's grown naturally on the earth helping people for thousands of years" when talking about ISO/BTU hash? There's nothing natural or medical about it.

i can understand how solvent based hashes can be perceived as chemical like or what not but im pretty sure if I used that to make potent edibles i wouldn't here any complaints about "being in the gutter with the tweakers". IMO nothing wrong with a properly made extract that can capture the essence of the medicine in a powerful form.

Most pharmaceutical grade drugs are extracted using far nastier solvents than ISO or Butane, both are relatively clean solvents.. Not to mention whatever they buffer them with.

I really enjoy all kinds of hash.. As long as solvent extracted hash is well purged, there are very trivial amounts of butane bonded with the oil. In fact, any remaining butane will evaporate when vaporizing, or smoking.. I find the effects of well done bho ( budder , earwax, earl, ect) to be very medicating, even more so than straight herb, or any water hash.. In fact I usually find that really well done oil tastes just like the strain it's made with..
Not to say that I don't love me some fmcd bubble that stuff is yum..( I think I have a problem, I like hash a little too much)

Not using it as an example of a healthy way to provide healthy medicine ( it does greatly reduce the amount of smoke inhaled) but more as an example of how much of a synthetic/artificial society we live in. I mean most people don't care what goes in tylenol, I don't think to these types it would invalidate the treatment, infact smoking the flowers of a plant may seem like a more crude way of medicating to some.

just playing devils advocate hoss.

concentrates have a time and a place, I'm sure many on this site would agree, and I really am a fan of bho in it's many forms, nothing kills my back pain like a fat bong rip of earwax.. as a matter a fact : lights up torch:

I think Tylenol is usually synthesized by treating p-aminophenol with acetic anhydride to form acetaminophen and then purified with half-and-half water and methanol. Nothing particularly nasty in that I don't think.

Tylenol was just the first thing that came to mind, my point was most people really don't care about how raw material ends up in a finished product, example Mcdonalds, medication ect.. What I find weird is that acetaminophen kills more people than all illegal drugs combined and people really don't think twice about popping that shit. Or Fluoride in toothpaste and water..http://biochemistryden.blogspot.com/2010/02/why-is-fluoride-bad-for-you.html I guess I was just trying to say solvent extractions won't discredit us, if anything it's another skill (chemistry) that many of us farmers posses..

I was not aware that tylenol was "purified" with methanol. Crazy. Glad I stopped taking that shit as soon as I got out of the navy (they handed it out like candy). It shouldn't even be surprising to learn this kind of crap after hearing how 25% of the American population is converting to cancer per year nowadays (according to Dr. Clark who did my renewal a while back). Toxicities and deficiencies. Kills our plants, and us.

You have allot ot learn about the pharmie industry if you think they don't use solvents, you are wrong inb your assumption because they are used every day, all the time.
Study up on your chemistry and drug manufacturing.
Your statement shows a complete lack of knowledge to how drugs are created in the chem industry.
Solvents are the staple of the drug industry.

Polymerization...creating long complex hydrocarbon chains, and then using heavy solvents and a centrifuge to strip out out everything else. Most of these hydrocarbons come from crude oil, you have to have solvents to seperate that shit. Most presciption drugs are only one or two steps away from the gasoline you put in your car. There is a sea of Zoloft floating around in the Gulf of Mexico.

My father was a geochemist, and he believed that both the source and the cure to cancer were locked away in the earth's vital fluids (oil), and that "oil was too precious to burn". It will be 50 years after we burn the last drop of oil that we figure out how truly precious oil is and make us realize that greed helped burn up in your gas tank what could of been the next big breakthrough.

This is the Under Current styled system I just finished building, I am using a 1/2 hp chiller, an Alita AL-80 for the 6" stones in the buckets, an Alita AL-60 for a 10 " circular stone in the res, and a Danner 1800 GPH pump to run the thing. 6" net pots... 2" pvc, uniseals, etc...... 24 buckets under 6000watts.

Making the lids was a pain in the ass!

I made the manifold so I could do a top feed, although this first run the clones will be big enough that I won't need it.

Here we are, bubbling away......

The res.... this is before I put the air stone and chiller hook up.....

And my ghetto light-proofing technique.....

My clones will be ready in another couple days....... and then we see how see grows!

Nothing too exciting just an update on whats going on in my closet. Got a 4 bulb hydrofarm T5 system coming, as well as a 465 blower and another super sun 2 600 watt. 1000 sq ft of poly and a few other goodies.

Just veggin right now, those who are being trained are California skunk and Barneys LSD. The smaller ones consist of Nirvanas White widow, big buddahs chiesel and Green House seeds Alaskan Ice.

Once my toys start showing up I will be building my new flowering room which will contain 2x600 hps. I am excited to get a 6 plant room going.

NICE TRIP! I am planning on keeping some moms from the 5 I have going. I have been playing with the fem seeds I bought a while back. I think I have a seedsman white widow and a diesel by NYC floating around. Then I will be going cuts only. I have been really enjoying the bl ch by barneys, wish I had harvested more! The carnival is also a mind blower and I need to go talk to the guys at Colorado Alternative Care and see if they have that mom still, I want a mom of that one.

Anyone know of some heavy yeilders that do well with a scrog?

Shooting for a perpetual system with 6 plants, hopefully will be able to harvest 2 a month once I get the timing down.

Props to you trip!

Ace you might want a net with bigger squares, soccer nets work well, as does garden twine. To maximize yield off that screen you need space to weave the branches in and out of the net.. How big is the area you got to grow in ???

Sativas, and Sativa hybrids tend to be the best yielders in a scrog.. anything with good lateral branching is great too.. SSH produce real well in a screen, as does the SAGE.

Yeah so far all the BlueCheese have been this Blueberry Funk just a great smell and flavor.. The Red diesel is nice. smells just like pink grapefruit. Both are worth growing again and if Barney can keep up this consistency then he has really figured this shit out.

The Chiesel is the first one of Big Buddhas i have tried and it is growing like hell.. I also have a Bluewidow from DinaFem..
