Temperature and Humidity

I'm just into the second week of my first grow and a hygrometer just came in the mail. I know I could search this out and look in various FAQs and whatnot but I find contradictory results everywhere.

I'm growing two autoflower northern lights in a 1.5x5x4 foot closet. What is the ideal temperature and humidity for my space in your opinions?

Cheers.

Hey shotgun, howd you get those beens to germinate ... After the seed cracks and you planted them ... Then what, did you put it right into light after initial planting or did you leave it in the darkk after ya planted it ... Also can you post a pic of you auto northern if ya have any

Thanks :tiphat:

Stuck them in paper towels until they cracked, then stuck them into the soil not very deep and not wet under the lights. Two didnt pop and two others that did died within a week because I wasnt monitioring temp and hunidity. Temp was 90+ and Humidity <20, only one survived. So I germed 4 Skunk #1 in paper towels to replace them, this time put them a little deeper in small pots on my windowsill with plastic wrap over the tops. They all popped during dark hours, and are growing a lot faster than the AF NL but I still have really low humidity

Yikes.

Humidity and temperature are pretty important - as you've well learned. Good to know that you've gotten things back under control and you've learned your lesson.

Won't do that again, I'm sure.

Eh, it's a good lesson for anyone who is growing from seeds. Those are far more sensitive than clones, from my experience. And so much can go wrong which can then impact the entire growing future.

Good thing you caught the problems in time. Now you should have smooth sailing from this point forward, I'm sure.
