Mixing soil...

You were asking about mixing 2000 liters of potting soil which is about (more or less) 3 c.y. (i.e. 80 c.f. of potting soil).

A 3 c.y. mixer is the 'norm' here in the valley and is the size used by the 'wannabe' potting soil products, i.e. Botanicare, Roots Organics, et al. The mixing companies that I use all pretty much use this class of mixers.

The charge is between $.65 - $.80 per bag and that price is standard without regard to the packing size, i.e. 1 c.f., 1.5 c.f. and 2.0 c.f. - it doesn't matter. That price includes stacking of the bags on a pallet and then shrink-wrapped. The minimum charge is for 1000 lbs. (i.e. 1/2 of a US ton) meaning that if you want 200 lbs. mixed you have to pay for 1000 lbs.

So do you think that polyploid/triployd thing may be in play here or what.

Your knowledge on breeding, in general, as well as the advanced techniques is WAY beyond my knowledge/skill level.

You've met me in person. I'm not some great genetic wonder by any stretch of the imagination. I have some 'old school' genetics that I grow and enjoy. I'm sure that the legitimate/real genetics offered by the professional companies far exceed my stuff.

Having said that, the BMR strain has shown itself to be an incredible strain and I'm anxious to give the final product it's test. I'm confident that it'll be a wonderful strain and one that I will want to continue to grow and enjoy.

Again - thanks a million!

There's no "if,and's,or but's" about it CC...the stuff you have from way back when IS as good as ANY of this stuff around now. I would actually think it's better after running the Blue Orca a couple times. You really can't beat older un-muddied genetics.
The BMR is a genetic monster, but the Blue Orca has the highest percentage of trichome glands per leaf/calyx surface area than ANY of the 30 strains I've got going.
Haven't ran The One yet...next round she goes in.
