Easier way to clean bong bowls?

I use Chronic Orange & a Clean old sock cause its easy & quick but you can just as easily buy alcohol & salt this works fine too.

Take a ziplock baggie, fill 1/2 inch of salt in the bottom, then drop in the bowl.
Cover glass bowl with alcohol, 99%.
Zip up baggie, shake back and forth.
or let bowl soak for 30 minutes, then shake.
Sometimes I cover the hole in bowl with my thumb, fill it will salt and alcohol, cover the other end with a finger and shake.
have fun.
don't forget to use chap stick to grease the glass joints to keep it from sticking too. works great.

to loosen some of that really stubborn build up i will take my glass stem or spoon and put it in a solo cup of water, then microwave the cup for 2 minutes(put paper towels over cup).

i just switched from 420 to this and it works great.I cannot stress enough how great Grunge Off is. #1 its a green product. No solvents to ruin your fuming. It's reusable. I don't care how dirty your piece is, soak it in this stuff and then just rinse in hot water and it will look like the day you bought it...no shaking!

heat your glass with hot water + heat your iso alc in the microwave till it boils and use that. heat = much faster cleaning

Not good for fuming. If your glass is clear than iso and salt is great...if not don't use.

Yeah, Grunge Off is the way to go for anything small.
Little expensive at first, but you can run it through a strainer or coffee filter and reuse the stuff a long time. Smells great even after its been turned black from repeated use, which I love.
Anyone tried Purple Power? That stuff is bio-degradable, 7 bucks a gallon, and supposedly an excellent de-greaser.
I dropped this tip in a thread a little while back, but will mention it here too - the Barbicide jars that barbers use for scissors and stuff make a great device for soaking bowls and slides, as they have a cup at the bottom that pulls right up. 20 bucks at your local barber supply store or online

I dont use table salt I use rock salt crushed up. The larger pieces work better as a scrubbing action when you shake imo. I would agree with these new products comming out makes it even more easy for us .
I use a #11 X-acto blade. Like peeling an apple but, from the inside. Course, my bowl is metal, wouldn't try it on glass.
I have not found better than 91%...where are you getting the 99% stuff?? I wanna know!!
Alcohol is the only way to go to clean pieces-- Cheapest and best--

You guys need to quite with the Salt and alcohol and get grunge off super soaker!
You can find it from $15 and up on ebay!
Since it's reusable it really pays for itself..
I've used one bottle for over 6 months cleaning every 2 days or so..
Sure it gets black and gross as hell but my pipes still come out looking BRAND SPANKIN' NEW!
By far the best option for cleaning..
I just fill up a skinny glass with GO and drop my bowls in..
For bongs I just fill up the bong pretty high, give it a quick shake to make sure all resin gets covered in GO then leave for a couple hours or overnight..
Careful though! Many bongs/bowls have been broken due to GO..
It's semi slippery so watch out
