HELP! Room too cold,

I just upgrade my 2x4 area with a 30 inch cooltube, and a second CMH 400w bulb. I also received a new vortex fan that had a little under double the airflow.

I wake up this morning to find that the rooms temperature had dropped to 59F. I have pretty much exhausted the funds that i can for this area, and i do not want to lose my babies!

I have an A/C floor vent, and a exhaust that pulls from the lights at 449CFM (rated at least)

I can not turn off the AC for the room when its kicked in at night, i already have the house temperature at 78F for night, and its not too cold during the day(Yeah this is part of my houses AC unit, the idea was to help "Control" the temps).

If i have to spend money i can probably spare $40 in the next few weeks, but i would prefer a cheap-o DIY method or advice.

Thanks for all the help!

It does indeed and I have it on there closed, but there is a 1 inch gap there, because the vent is too small. I did it myself and got the wrong sized grate, i can almost cover it with the grate, but then a little escapes on both sides :(

I do appreciate the thought though! Thanks for your feedback.

A telephone book will lay on top of that vent perfectly. Another option is to run lights at night when its cooler. That is how I have to do it in the desert to keep from running too hot in the daytime.

lol a phone book works for now. A bit of a hassel since i gotta get up at 6am to take it off, but it will have to do!

Are there any automated options i could explore? I chose soil for the lack of attention it needed compared to hydroponic or aeroponic.

i think the $40 would be best spent getting the right floor vent in there. i had the same thing in my old house and like it cool at night. i'd close the louvers up tight before i went to bed and would wake up cold (with the rest of the house very warm) the right vent will do the trick. btw, your plants dont really look like they suffered yet. but are those three small ones on the right yellow?

Thanks for the feedback!

yeah the ones on hte left are the more sickly Jillybean planted a week before the ones in the bags/cups.

Next week I have to figure out a new option for "Floor" space, so i can have everything at least a couple inches off the ground, and use all of my LxW since I will need it with those grow bags. Most of the seeds are not female, except the few UFO i have and 5 Utopia haze. Also I am almost positive i used the wrong soil composition on the ones on the left, they are in FF Light warrior with a few worm castings, and drain for CRAP. They are stunted for sure but i can not figure out the cause. I thought over watering at first, then Nitrogen levels being too low, but maybe their first watering (plane jane water PH-6.9) they got overnuted from the fox farms?

Ah the new at growing and their love or the art of growing!

Tape and plastic bag my friend..

Tape that vent closed and enjoy the heat from the lights.

You are wise with the cool tube now understand you are the god of what to do with the warm air.. I heat my house all winter.. they call it "Killing two birds with one Stone."

Do you have issues with smell being a problem in France? In the USA we panic if someone can smell our Cannabis.
