Light rail

I'm thinking of getting a light mover. Does anyone have some pics of plants that are almost ready, that were grown under a 1k light on 6' light rail. I've been lookin everywhere. Some people say just get 2 600's others say go with the 1000 on a rail. I'd just like to see the outcome using a rail. Any replies would be great

I have heard 600's are better than 1000's efficiency wise, plus if you have a light mover it will make them even more efficient so I would go with 2 600's. It will cut back on electricity in the long run anyways so :dance013:

What he said. For real you will be only using 200 more watts but getting a lot more lumens than just one 1000w.

Light movers DO NOT REPLACE LIGHT FIXTURES! they are ment to get the sahdy areas of the plant, you are not to use them as " another light "
i would go for the other fixture.

For sure, Light Rails are best used to enable a light to hit from multiple angles. Though I wouldn't mind trying one on say a 4'x5' (Maybe 6') footprint.

2 600's on a Light Rail sounds like the business.

I run 2 1000s. One on a mover and one stationary. so far after the last three harvests with this room, i have noticed i get more weight and bigger buds on the stationary side. The side on the mover going only a foot each way are alittle smaller, and more airy buds in the lower branches. I wanted to experiment, and i got my answer.

here is some shots of one of my grows on the mover side. Buds are still young though.

Thanks Issack. That's exactly what I wanted to hear and see. So if your 1000 is only moving 1 foot in each direction. and you noticed that they were a little smaller and airy at the bottom, i can imagine that running the whole 6' length would be alot smaller. I have 2 1000's and 2 600's. I'll probably just experiment with those being stationary instead of investing in a mover.
