If it comes down to needing a more efficient light then I have no problem with that. I just don't want to have to go through all the trouble of mounting the ballast and supplying it with power until I move into a more permanent place.

Hey I'm in a similar situation. I may be moving soon, and can't set up anything good right now. I've got this Cambodian under a 100w cfl that puts off 5000 lumens. It's the second biggest one I could find. I'll lower a few red spectrum's down to to flower.

You can expect to have a lot of leaf...I think that strain might be one of the worst ever to trim...Big yield yes, connoisseur grade herb, well that's debatable. If all your looking for is production, then big bud will be just what you're looking for.

I've seen some pretty nice looking BB recently, but I agree in general it's a big yielding commercial strain that can be a bit bland. One of my favorite plants in my garden is Snowcap, and it's a BB hybrid that is really potent and has a great high and taste,

Also, watch out because BB molds really easily.

As of right now I am looking for production because I never successfully harvested a plant from my first grow and I heard that BB was an easy strain to grow. I do have one Blueberry growing right now that is still a little fella, does this count as a connoisseur grade herb? lol

NUG-JUG, that is quite an interesting little set up you have there. My plants are all vegging under a 4' fluorescent ballast and cfl lamps on the sides of all 3. I had no idea plants could veg under 1 - 100w cfl alone

Both I would consider a commercial cut, for the most part. There are hybrids of big bud that are decent IMO. I guess it really depend son which blueberry though, the one from dp is crap IMHO..I really like dj shorts blueberry though.

It is actually called "Pot of Blueberry"... It is Pot of Gold X Blueberry, you probably already knew that. I just call it blueberry because I am lazy and like one word names.

Well I think more smaller bulbs is better for more than one plant. I just have this one big-ass sativa in my closet so I thought screw it you get a big-ass cfl..

nice work guys!

dorje, i'm not trying to start shit at all....i'm questioning the sour d. the sour d's i'm familiar with are typically darker green in the leaves, more pointy than rounded on the tops, less chunky, more lanky, and the pistils stay white WAY past the 5/6 week mark.

again, i'm not trying to start anything, just an observation. it looks dank whatever strain. nice work!

Yeah you could be right, I haven't grown SourD before at all. The source of the clones is reputable (so I'm sure it isn't midwest ditchweed at least), but the folks that gave me the clone didn't know if it was ECSD or Soma's SourD. I posted earlier (not sure if it was this thread or not) asking if anyone knew the difference by looking to let me know.

I have smoked both ECSD and Soma's SD before :) and I would rather it be ECSD, but as the plant matures I'm thinking it might be SomaSD which I think is merely ok. I AM psyched on the Snowcap and Flo though... Snowcap doesn't look like much, but it's one of the more potent strains I've seen and smells 1/2 like pine and 1/2 like sweet haze.

So you're saying (confirming) it's not the ECSD, right?

ECSD has a really distinct bud. you could spot it in a crowd of budding plants with no problem.

Ill see if i can find the post that has all the pics... I think its the history of Chemdawg or something like that
ECSD is Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk from what i read...

i know environment and other factors come into play but it should still be pretty close in appearance if grown optimally

Hehe, my SourD is a huge nitrogen hog, I've been having a hard time keeping her green, I've fed her way more N than the other plants. I even bought her some Age Old Grow so she'd have a strong source of N... she's even in a 20 gal pot... so I wouldn't say it's as good as it could have been, but pretty good besides that. She is packing on the buddage lately tho. :)

So this cut of the white has been underneath 24hour light for about 3 weeks now.. It was taken off a plant 1-2 weeks in flower, and it still seems to be still producing resin/pistils. I have zero experience with any kind of re-vegging, is this normal?? I mean she is stressed!! throwing 1 bladed leaves ect.. How long should expect for it to completely re-vert back to veg, or is this a lost cause??

patience, it will happen...... iam about to re-veg a plant that iam harvesting from. not what i would like to do, but the clones got lost in my mix of 30 strains...
