Is anyone on ICMag experienced with using Age Old Organics "Grow" and "Bloom" formulas? What were your feeding schedules?

Thanks :tiphat:

Age Old is pretty strong, so start out conservatively. Your feeding depends on what's already in the soil, so it's not so easy to say.

Also, AO Bloom has too much P relative to K, so you'll want to add a source of K to balance it out, IME...

I am also adding molasses to the fed, I'm not sure if that would be adding enough K however... and the soil mix I am using is just the Age Old soil cut with perlite. Not a lot of additives at all in it... I'm just very uncertain of the feeding times and amounts.

I've read some people feeding with every watering, and I've read every other day, and I've read once a week. So, I'm really just looking for peoples experience and words I guess... and I thank you for yours :)

What medium, if any? are you running.
Your nutrient at 12-6-6 (grow) and 5-10-5 (bloom) is fine, you just need to start at around 1/3 to 1/2 recommended rates and adjust if needed as you go along.
Edit, found it - Age Old Soil. this should have around 4 or 5 weeks of nutrients for seedlings and young plants, you need to apply your nutrients after this, you can apply a weak solution every watering if you go easy.

I am unsure as to which feeding schedule to go by, on the back of the bottle. It lists "Vegetables and Flowers", and also has "Indoor and Tropical Plants". For "Indoor and Tropical Plants" it lists the amounts @ 1 to 3 teaspoons per gallon, apply directly to soil each week." But I would assume, that you could feed cannabis on a light schedule every watering? Perhaps 1-2teaspoons(max) per gallon? What are your thoughts?

With age old or any fertilizer the amount used and how often really depends on what your plants tell you they need.
My best advise is simple, start at a low dose and work your way up to full strength. Use it every other watering to start and learn to read your plants to see what they need. Different strains feed differently too. Some are heavy feeders and want a hard feeding every watering and some don't even need any additional nutrients other then whats in your soil for a week at a time.
I haven't used age old since 2007-2008 but I did like it,just moved on to things that worked better for me.:)

I use Age Old and feel in organic soil as such- EDIT: These values are used with RO filtered water (0-5ppm)

Veg- 4ml/g of Age Old Grow; 5ml/g of Age Old Kelp; 3ml/g Age Old Humic 12 (as well as my usual additives)
Bloom- I feed veg formula with calplex valued raised for the first 1-2wks of stretch then start the bloom regimen at 6ml/g of Bloom; 5ml/g of Kelp; 4ml/g of Humic 12.....

By mid flower I am up to 7-8ml/g of bloom and by late flower i usually start to burn at about 9ml/g. I keep kelp the same all the way through and use the Humic 12 for the first 3-4 days of flush to help eat up whats left.
