if I saw those I'd buy 10, they're always handy to have around. I paid 2$ for a couple that weren't as nice as those. looks like a good deal to me, and it's always nice to have spares for my computer too lol.

should work fine for a micro grow. There are hundreds of these types of fans. There cheep and easy to replace. how big is the space you want to cool. Just buy as many as you need plus a few extra.

hey grow1620 thanks for the advice and ya they had a few different sizes and brands from 99 cent to 7 dollars. I'll have to go back and check the other stock out.

Thanks,

Hey Hammerhead im currently constructing 2 PC grow cases and a rubbermaid grow with two 18 gallon tubs. Ive read to use one 120MM fan for an exhaust for the rubbermaids and a passive intake (pvc elbows). does that sound about right?

As for the PC cases
The smaller ones dimensions are.
13 1/2 X 13 3/4 X 7 inches.

the larger one is.
24 X 15 X 7 inches.

Do you have any recommendations on Ventilation? intake / Exhaust size or passive air flow?
And yes it would be a micro grow w/ CFL's.

thank you for your input.

Here's some pics of the PC cases

Large PC

Also what would you guys recommend should i put a wall on one side of this PC case like thin plywood or maybe metal:dunno:. My major concern is light leaks. this PC case might be a hassle for some, but i don't mind. It needs to be screwed and unscrew to remove and replace the cover:wallbash:. Any input on what to do would be appreciated.:1help:

Thanks,
Micro

buy a few fans, test em out, and go buy more of the ones you like. they're cheap enough, it doesn't matter much.

as for your PC cases, if you're using CFLs, you'll have to make sure you have a fan going over the lights or they won't stay cool.
