I tried to get bud shots with an iPhone, cut me some slack on the quality. Overall I think I got a good setup goin, three random strains that all appear to be dank in their own way. The funny thing is, my unhealthiest plants are budding the most (skinniest is budding the most, then the middle one where the main cola got burned is in second, and my third plant on the far left is the most dense and smells the funkiest but has just now only shown a few white hairs.
As you can see ive used Miracle Grow Bloom Food (15-30-15) and i mixed 1/2 tsp per 1/2 gallon of water. Tried it for the first time yesterday and i'll probably rewater on saturday or sunday (about twice a week give or take).
I have also concocted my own bug spray considering the last one only killed off the bugs but didnt really get under the soil. This time I emptied 3 camel turkish silver cigerettes into 200mL of water and let it soak for 24 hours. Then the next day I boiled this brownish cig water for roughly 2-3 minutes (or until i couldnt bare the smoke anymore) and let it cool down. Then i mixed it with a small amout of dish soap to add to the consistancy as well as a little bit more water just for diluting purposes. As of today I went into my closet and played bug killer, I definately got a high score with my new liquid. Only time will tell if it repels them as well, and if my plants can withstand it. Im curious if shocking the plant with plant food and bug spray (homemade) would send it into overshock or something and kill it. Suggestions or comments?
Plants seems to be about the same size, my 18" is now 18.5" and my 17.5" is now 18" so they're steady growin.
At this stage I was also wondering about a stake or a rod of some sort for the plant to lean on. I'm afraid theyre starting to bend slightly already and the buds really have barely started to form so suggestions again haha!
