Mold in a PC Case

Hi everyone. I started a PC Case micro grow about two weeks ago that have two lorwyder #2s and one diesel ryder in a 1 gallon tub of organic soil. They are all getting very strong and one in particular is huge. I give them about 1 regular sized water bottle of poland spring every other day. In the back corners of the tub is a green mossy like "mold" i assume... I could post pics if it is necessary, but I am basically looking to see if this will be harmful to the plants. Thanks

Not a problem if it persists. Try and allow the soil to dry out a bit before you water. Do the pot lifting method or tub in this case. You can get a feel of how dry it is by the weight of the tub. Or have a fan blowing on the plants in there if you dont already. good luck.

Yeah, kidkannabis is right..let the tub dry out then if you can lift your tub, you should be able to tell when to water/feed....over-watering can attract mold and all sorts of stuff...not saying you are or anything like that..
whats the humidity like?
good luck!!

well, is the mold bad? I haven't been overwatering, but I certainly have been generous in my waterings. There are 3 lowryders in a 1 gallon tub. I give them about a regular .5 liter bottled water every other day. They are super strong and healthy so far so I don't think im over doing it, but I dont want the mold to in turn do damage

that might be the problem...bottled water isn't very good for plants..I did that with my easy-ryder and she hated it!!
Its very high ph..over 7 in some cases..I use plain old ph'd 6.5 tap water now and its much better...
try to let the tub dry out(it won't hurt yur plants) then water with regular ph'd 6.5 tap water..might help..
mold can be very bad in some cases....try to google mold in soil and see what comes up...
just keep asking us questions and all will be fine...then start a thread so we can watch!!!
take care

Well this is them. The biggest one is about 8 days old and is really strong and juiced. The other two are about 6 days old and seem to be a little slower. How do I know if my tapwater is safe in terms of pH and also other impurities in the water. I haven't watered in 2 days the soil is still a little damp.

Well it doesn't look too bad. Do you have drainage holes? It just looks like you're over-watering. Let your medium dry out a bit before you water again. I prefer letting my plants telling me when they're thirsty, sometimes to the point when they're drooping then I water. But don't do this, as I do it to test my phenos and see which ones are more heat and drought tolerant. Get a pH test kit. Home Depot, Wal-Mart, Petco, almost any store will have them. From cheap test trips to more precise and a bit expensive test pens. A good investment indeed.

Doesn't it look like algae?strange but its not bad at all...
kidkannbis is right bro...try different water but let the pot dry out till its dry like an half an inch to an inch tops...thats what I do besides telling by weight..I just poke my finger down a little and if its dry, I water/feed...
the plants look great by the way...
take care

also, do the plants in the pictures look like lowryders? I had 3 lowryders and 3 free seeds from attitude that i was afraid I got mixed up. I gave 3 to a friend that i hoped were the free seeds and kept the good 3. I just wanted to make sure, they look like lowryders to me

anyone? The other 3 that I wanted to give away were Dinafems. I think Sweet Deep Grapefruit, Bubba Kush, and one other. This is obviously pretty important

It looks like the fan leaves of ur easyryder are much shorter and wider than what I think is my lowryder. I have two lowryders and one diesel ryder, I think. Hopefully I didn't switch those seeds by accident being the lazy stoner I am. As you can see the one plant is getting real bushy and the other two are starting to pick up with another set of leaves. The two smaller have about 2 leaf sets and the taller one is basically uncountable there are so many leaves. I will update later

also, the most bottom and biggest fan leaves on the strong lowryder are kind of dry... and it has some slight discolored spots. I feel like I could snap the leaf if I bent it. I think it may be because of the tap water here... I basically let it sit out for about 48 hours in an empty gatorade container to kill any chlorine and such. I think I may switch back to the bottled water. The plants seemed to have liked it fine and now that I switched something that isn't so great is happening. Should I be spraying the fan leaves or something with one of those spray bottles? The air in the case may be dry because the plants are high and close to the light where the exhaust is but the intake is underneath them. Idk... any suggestions would be appreciated. Ill post pics later
