These problems are also responsible for the robbery and theft of medical cannabis from patients who are attempting to follow the letter of the law and are growing there own within the limits of there licence but because of the current legal status of cannabis it makes us medicinal patients prime targets for robbery. Mainly because of the fact most of us are disabled in some way or another and even if we have electronic security ,deadbolts and what not to protect us from theft the fact remains that response time for violent domestic disputes is around 10-15 minutes and with a break in with monitoring the operators have to first try and establish if the alarm was set off by accident and then they make the call to dispatch police to your home so if a criminal breaks in he has abotu 10 minutes in most cases to grab what he can and leave . So once they are in the home locating the grow room is fast unless the grower is able to build a hidden room but anyways once found a criminal can easily rip up 10 plants in seconds and if the grower is like myself my dried product is kept in a closet withing my grow room as it provides me with more security. And what makes us medicinal patients targets is the fact that we are infirm we also dont have to setup elaborate booby traps like are found in most illegal grows nor do a large amount of medicinal growers keep firearms , so when considering the street value of cannabis because of prohibition its value is artificially inflated to the point that while many people wont take the risk of growing it themselves I feel they believe that throwing on a ski mask and breaking into a patients home and robbing them is a safer way to make some money. But if at the very least cannabis was legalized for everyone allowing them to keep a 6 x 6 garden with up to 1000w of lighting or up to 6 plants growing in an outdoor garden then the value of cannabis would drop down to what you would expect to pay for a weed especially when you factor in that if everyone who wanted to smoke pot could grow there own with no reprecussions I highly doubt anyone would be willing to fork out there hard earned cash for it. So while medical cannabis programs are a step forward in helping those who benefit from cannabis prohibition continues to make us some of the easiest targets for theft and untill goverments are forced to realize that these draconian laws concerning cannabis are now not only wasting billions fighting a war against a plant and loosing this war is placing us patients in danger of robbery or physical harm I only say this because of the News stories I have read about Ripper gangs who specifically target medicinal patients.
Well I have to disagree with you there on 2 facts for one if dreams come true in america Cannabis would be legal still and the law drafted by George Washington requiring all farmers to grow cannabism, and the second part I have to disagree with is america growing the best weed when for the past several years the concensus has been the best weed in the world comes from canada and to back this statement up all I have for proof is everytime I am in the states visiting my friend who get wicked bud themselves always ask me everytime I come to visit if I brought any Beasters with me.
