i need some help with a pc case

I would like to know if a 150w hps in a cooltube is to much for a pc case the case is 26'h 19'l 8'w thanks

Cool tube you say. It could work.I run 155w in my pc which is close to size as that one and im seeing low 80-85*F respectively, with a intake and exhaust fan. Right now my intake is down and i need to reconnect it so im seeing high 80's, 87-89*F.I also so should mention this is the heat of summer, this same box in the winter barely seen above 78*F

leeroy, that's almost 150w per square foot. You might have an easier time cooling a 70w hps. If you've got enough room for a cool tube, you've prolly got enough room for a large, horizontally mounted CFL. Another option might be PL-L.

I'd probably go with one of those mesh pencil can scrubbers. If the carbon wall is no more than 3/8" thick, you can probably push through it instead of pull. The down side could be external visibility but the up side would be more grow room in the pc. Either way it'll trap light but pushing through it externally will also help muffle the air/fan bearing noise.
