Lighting in late bloom?

Howdy folks, I have a few girls in bloom at around 9 & 1/2 weeks. They are under 6 28w cfls and everything seems to be going fine. :dance013: I am trying to track down the finishing time so I am not real worried about pulling them out early or late this run. I started pulling at the end of week 8 so I can compair it with week 9, 10, 11, ect...I still see mostly clear and cloudy trics with am amber here and there on the cola's. BUT....I do see some busted amber heads. I am preaty sure the girls are not done yet, they are getting very, very close tho because I am starting to see a lot more cloudy then clear with an amber here or there.(I have to hunt hard to find one or two ambers per cola but they have lots of cloudy) So my question is this late into flowering should I be moveing them away from the lights or keep them close? Right now they are about a 1/2 inch to an inch away from the CFL's. Could being that close to the lights damage the trics?

I'm not an indoor expert, but I would keep the lights as close as possible without burning anything so you can get light penetration as close to the bottom of your plants. Keep scoping the trichs to gauge the ripeness.

When I last grew with CFL's my lights were all on top of the plants (no side lighting) and I ended up harvesting all the plants in stages, took the top half first and then dropped the lights and gave the remaining plants another two weeks to ripen. But that strategy may not work depending on the strain you're growing and the effect you're looking for.
