I like this locals spot, place called STIX. Small, nice selection, good friendly place. This is not a touristy shop at all.

Well guys Im all set, not coming till October. I bought the airline tix already! The only thing is now Im worried it may be a waste...Im now hearing the coffeeshops may go to being available only to locals because of some political issues. Also just saw where they arent letting Snoop play..Sounds like weed tourism may be out very soon in Adam...so so sad..

Hope a train and go to another city for the day, try weed in the coffee shops of smaller city's, and towns.

Who is a more "open and friendly character" than Snoop? It's not like he's the same character as he was back in his Death Row days. He spends a lot of time working with charities and rising funds for them. Rest of his time is spent chilling back in Cali smoking his medical marijuana

I just got back from the 'dam! Actually, I'm in Matla right now.
You will need every penny of that 5000, EVERYTHING is stupid expensive their (except the weed which is average 12 euro/gram). A 12oz bottle of Coke is 2.50 euro.

Go to the 'dam bro. Tourist area or not, the place is fuckin jumpin! The redlight district is cool as hell and their are coffeshops EVERYWHERE!!!!
You get what you pay for as far as hotels go, nothing is cheap. You're gonna need every penny of that 5000k euro trust me.
Oh, and go to the RooR shop on Sint Nicholas (building #19). The glassware is cheaper than online and they ship anywhere. And they give you free Mr.Nice seeds with every purchase. They won't ship the seeds though. I bought a pack of G13/widow for 68 euro and got MasterKush/Skunk for free. And got Blackwidows for free for buying the Bong
Yeah I been all over traveling and am a big dude, but I will take the precautions actually bought one of those passport wallets that hang around your neck (lets see em pick-pocket that!) Ill keep it tucked inside the layers of clothes Im assuming Ill need in mid October in Adam.
I been reading all the tips and stuff on Adam so ill prolly go get my soft drinks from a grocery store and keep at hotel. (im a huge diet pepsi drinker). I dont drink alchohal. Breakfast buffett will be included so only 2 meals a day and a snack or 2 maybe.
I was thinking 5 grams a day from at least 3 coffeeshops will give me 42 different coffeeshops and 70 grams in a 2 week stay, what you all think is that about right on the amount of weed? (keep in mind im traveling solo)

I was thinking about staying in Haarlam because I figured itd be a little quieter and more comfortable. Im older now and not really into partying hardcore anymore. Im going mainly to smoke top quality herbs legally and see a few tourist stuff like the weed museums/grows, museums, Anne Frank house and such...

Partying in the shops is part of the experience! You can smoke anywhere though. Most shops have seats outside as well as inside, and you can walk along the canal and cop a squat on a bench and burn. Or you can walk around casually burning one. I stood right next to a cop asking him questions while my wife was burning a cone next to me. The smoke was literally wafting up his face. All good!!!
