fuck that pisses me off to hear that...did you guys get through a run atleast? i would have bombed his car.jk?

Nope, all those girls were only 2 weeks in, and got chopped to clones when we had to take 'em home last minute. If you bought GDP or PK clones in the Bay Area last fall and they WEREN'T from SR-71, they were probably chopped from those girls above...especially in the East Bay, the city, or the Peninsula.

No reason to carbomb, LOL, it was a animalistic move, and we all reacted defensively. No need to put more negative vibes out there...

Damn, what a story. Glad to hear you're back up and running now though. I also left Oakland not too long ago.

BPG, Harborside, and a few other spots had my stuff, and yea, I made the rounds on CL, too. Can't remember if I met anyone there off San Pablo, but I met a few guys in Berkeley for sure....kinda flooded the market right before I left California with those strains. If there was a shop in SF, EBay, or the Peninsula that carried clones, they had at least one tray of mine...hehe. Harborside actually was sad when I skipped town, because they said I had some of the healthiest girls around.

How do you get so much rep? Hehe...

I might want to try my luck at one of these again, but more aeration and CHILLERS! Hydroton baskets in the PVC would be the way to go, not rockwool, since rockwool isn't designed to stay wet all the time!

Nah, if you saw how we intended to run it, it was high pressure with a strong current, constant flow. Almost like an Undercurrent system. Each root mass had a few inches of moving water it would sit in.

GOT DAMN MOPHO major props on the setup bro. sorry to hear about the loss though. get back on that horse and ride man. you got skills. do you know if your gdp was ken's? thats what i have running right now. anyway sad to hear your out of state. lucky for the patients though. peace bro.

Speechless. Nonetheless you had the nicest setup EVER!

Thank you, but I doubt that! I have seen some serious setups here on IC, but most vanish as quick as they are posted, due to paranoia, or whatever! This grow is a bust, for me at least, so I could give 2 shits about posting pics at this point! I am not affiliated with this grow, location, or anyone that was involved at the time! Fuck 'em!

smart move bro. i ride solo. the only time i get to talk about growing is on here and when i go to dispensaries and collectives and meet cool people.

It helps to have a crew of dudes you can trust, trade advice, but they gotta be your homeboys, not a collection of greedy investors and fuck heads....lesson learned!

I know how tube systems work, it's constant FLOW. even if you used net pots with expanded clay, instead of rock wool, it would still be nft. No matter what sized operation. Rockwool and dwc really dont mix. and dwc TECHNICALLY is over a foot deep of water for the roots, less than a foot is swc. I just think labeling the tube system as rdwc is not very accurate and that nft is more accurate of a title for the tube system. :) But it is all hydro, so I still love it. Talk to you soon!

Yea, I guess you are right on that....

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutrient_film_technique

Nutrient Film Technique or NFT is a hydroponic technique whereby a very shallow stream of water containing all the dissolved nutrients required for plant growth is recirculated past the bare roots of plants in a watertight gully, also known as channels. Ideally, the depth of the recirculating stream should be very shallow, little more than a film of water, hence the name 'nutrient film'.

Although, we were essentially running it as DWC because the water level would get high in the pipes, and the roots would be fully submerged in the water, rather than having part of the root mass in the air, which is the principle that NFT works on. It was by design supposed to be a hybrid system of a few different techniques. But we are both right I think (although you are probably more right from just judging the pics, if you never saw how it worked). Sorry I didn't take more in depth pictures at the time of how it functions, I wasn't expecting to not be working this grow, so the pics I have is what I got..
