Hi folks,I decided to start this thread because this pot from TH seeds is simply delicious.
I had two Sage, pretty similar pheno, same flowering time, same height and bud structure, grown in soil.
It's a very dank weed, extremely frosty.Maybe not a very big yeld plant but sure an high quality one.
Smell during flower was not much as other strains but the real deal come after the cure :D
After 4 month of cure it become something delicious.Smell like a mix of citrus and lavender, not very smelly, but really pleasant.
I harvested with cloudy thrics and a very few ambred and the high is very uplifting, very sativa like.I know is subjective to everyone, but the high take short time to reach and last the right time.Aroma is something special to me,citrus are very noticeable but not very strong...delight :)
I tried Sage also in A'dam at Katsu coffeshop,I found it pretty different from mine, and I didn't like it,honestly.

Here some shots

i have 3 beans left from way back

the 1's i popped were very tasty, and a sour persil washing up powder type of smell.

yours look different

how long did you flower for bro?

they look real good by the way

I've got a pack of SAGE on week 9 right now...gonna take it to week 11. Very stable; 90% were exactly the same- many strong side branches with dense spear-shaped buds that smell like straight up oregano. No joke. I grew mine into bushes. They loved to be topped over and over. Loved whatever I threw at them really. Took a sample bud last week that sent me absolutely SOARING. Here's a quick shot from week 8:

Thanks to everyone, glad you appreciate :)

Flowering takes more than two months,I don't remember exactely, maybe you can take a look at my thread here:https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=140553.I can say for sure flowering took a little longer due to low temps.

Beautiful buds !!!
Are the beans regular or feminized ?
Ciao

Female ;)

You guys have officially landed SAGE, on my to do list!

Yeah, give it a try if you can :) it grow nice also in hydro setup.I had one, but, unfortunately it was a male...yeah really a male, came from a batch of 5 female seeds.Check my thread for more info, but I sent an email to TH and they admitted it was probably due to a mistake in packaging.

Sage from TH seeds

I let this little nugget to cure for a lot of time (10 months) in a little glass jar.Smoked some days ago and I noticed the flavours were almost gone...after 2 months cure it had superb aroma.
However the high was nice, fast to take my mind after some hits.
Are 10 months too many?Did I do something wrong?

No, 10 months ar enot too many. I once kept some Purple Yarkhun and Laspur Gold (Hash strains from Pakistan) for more than 12 months and they only got better with time, with strongly improved flavours.
Buds were kept in a metalic biscuit box, stored in a cupboard with temps never reaching above 15°C even during summer time.
Different strains certainly react differently to long-term storage, but temperatures are a crucial element. Actually I think it's the most important. If too hot, your stuff will loose some properties, if too cold the curing process will be stopped.

Nice babes everyone !

Irie !

Hi noreason, I didn't see this thread before, that sage is amazing looking. Mad props on the grow!

I love T.H. Seeds, there strains are amazing.

In my opinion I think weed is best when cured in a dark room temperature(70-75F) airtight container( preferably glass ). I believe for almost all my strains now and in the past, it seems to get better for about 6 months cured in this manner.

It is really good from 3-6 months. It is also really good from 6-9 months although different than the 3-6 month weed. Usually more hashy tasting, flavors meld togethor, much THC breaks down into other cannabinoids making the high creep up and seem more indica in nature.

The medicine I have had from 9-12 months is good but quite different from the earlier buds. It is as good as the 0-3 month herb in my opinion although the high is very mellow and not racy at all. Even sativa's with all head high will mellow out to some extent and have a slight body high at this age.

Lastly, I think the buds that are over 12 months in age are starting to degrade. They do not seem very favorable and in most situations I would rather smoke other buds to be honest.

Things I have noticed though is what the previous person commented on the temperature is a big factor in the "aging" of our herbs. High temperature can destroy THC and speed up the curing process. Cold temperatures can stop these processes. That being said I think for long term storage of herb one should freeze/refrige their medicine at some point in the 3-9 month curing process, as seen fit by the smokers of the medicine.

This is just my opinion though I don't mean to rant, I am just quite interested. In the Dam I smoked some herb at Cannabis Cup 2007 Alaskan Ice from a small shop near central station, do not remember the name. Anyways, they claimed to have cured the herb for 1 year for the entrance in the cup. I smoked maybe 3 grams while I was there and it was amazingly smooth, much more than most other buds in the coffeeshops.

Peace all.

Maybe temperature rise too much during the summer till 26° and this is not good to curing buds.

Also, the little jar where I kept it for all this time it's not air tight and surely this will lower the terpens and flavonoids:

Next time I'll try to store it in a sealed container, keep it in the fridge and will see what happen

Thanks for stopping mates
