Hey labtech I got a question for ya. Given your experience what do you think the minimum height I would need to be able to do a three stack grow with a 600W HPS on the bottom and two more levels with 400W CMHs. Ideally it would all be one unit but I might do what you did and a 2 tier/stand alone unit. I figured with the two 400W CMHs I could use less height than you did for your 600 and also get plants closer to the bulb.

FYI, I tried the 400 CMH. It does produce more resinous buds, it does produce more leafy buds. I prefer the density and size of the buds I get with a 600 HPS. The 400 just can't compare. Just saying wattage equal, you might prefer the results of the 600's, and spend less money on equipment. If you already have the ballasts, then ignore me! :)

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I chopped them down on saturday night so it will be a few days yet until theyre fully dried. I'll let everyone know what I got then. I unfortunately burned some of my girls by giving them too much food. Lesson learned I guess. :(

I ended up buying some Roots cocofiber soilless mix to use this next run. Well see how that goes. I am only going to run the 1200 watt chamber this next run, which is what I just ran.

I transplanted 4 lemon purps, 1 Bogbubble and 2 Romulans last night. I hope to get atleast one more female Bogbubble. We'll see in a few days if any of the 4 I popped are female. Heres a shot of the 7 I transplanted and 4 OG kushes and 2 Headbands that I will transplant tonight.

Well I've got one more female Bubblegum, and I transplanted a pure kush as well, so now I'm up to 15 plants.

I'm very disappointed with my harvest. The quality is there, but I barely got 1 1/2 lbs with 1200 watts.

Hmm No C02, AC, chiller and some were Kushes grown in soil. It sounds like a good run to me when you figure your true wattage used.

What was your canopy height and width at finish?

Thanks guys for everything. Sorry I haven't been on in a while, there's not much to show. I had to completely take everything down and clean up the whole basement for an inspection which happened this morning. Everything went awesome, I just put garbage bags over my girls and put them in the back of my suv. Then I tore my tents down, which took about 3 hours for both of them, and put the parts in my friends truck. The landlord was in and out in about 30 minutes with me just bs'ing with her for most of the time. Now is the fun part. Putting it back together. Atleast I know everything is clean now.hehe

Sounds like the perfect time to make a a lil bigger room and make a 600 watt triple stack.

Good job! Once, I hid my plants in the ceiling for a fire inspection. When we went in the back room where the plants were above us, one of the ceiling tiles fell down! ha ha... I about shit myself. I just tried to stay calm, the fireman said "I didn't do it!", I laughed, grabbed the tile and put it back up so fast... lol
