well how was it? Hope it turned out better than that sf hemp expo. please post your opinions on the event and the bud!!
It was great! All except the waiting in line part. Pretty disorganized there but once inside it was a blast! LOTS of schwag and some vendors. Out on the 420 MED area you could buy beans, clones and bud! Everyone was smiling and the vibe was very positive. There were a few casualties of war but that is to be expected when you dont eat anything then hit the hash bar LOL.I even attended the legal seminar and Q and A with the high times and NORML lawyers, VERY informative 
. The first year of anything is always a bit of a cluster and a learning experience so I look forward to next year!

I was there. Too long of a damn line outside but once that was over my only other issue was no flippin water!
Talked to Subcool. Got some Vortex beans. Hit the hash bar(s) many times. Went to the activism seminar and the medical cannabis seminar. I saw those casualties of war...tooo funny bro, too funny. I smoked out with some chill SoCal dudes who brought some nice Lavendar in. J..wish we could have hooked up. Might go back tomorrow, not sure, Father's day an all.

you think it's worth it to go if i can only get there at 6 pm tomorrow? i'm down in socal right now and it would take me hella long to drive up there. i really want to go cause it's the first ever high times cup in cali but is it worth the 35 bucks for only a couple hours? is there a lot of free smoke at the 215 patient area?

No free weed. There is a free hash bar or 2. But to drive all the way up here at that time.....no man. I don't think so.

pretty bad reviews of the event on the HT website.. I'm also disappointed to see that the dispensaries will be the "cup" winners.. if they're not underselling the growers then they're taking credit for their hard work.. sigh...

thats kinda why I didnt go. You can only smoke in a certain designated area and you have to bring your own. so why not just stay home and bbq with some friends and smoke? use the $35 bucks for steaks!!

The reason I went was just for the vibe of the event (well.... also to score beans straight from a breeder). The cool thing was the outdoor smoke area. There were vendors selling everything, including hash, meds edibles beans and cuts. Plus all the smoking device, grow supplies, jars vendors.
Should have been able to be a judge if your prop 215.

anybody know the results of the cup? who won? overall did you feel this was a good cup?
My buddy is on his way home from this cup. He said a ton of people showed up and it was a blast. I was told there were about 6 categories such as edibles and concentrates, but these are the only results I know...

Was really cool that some breeders were there. MzJill and Subcool were out and chattin it up with the folks as was DJ Short. I had a hard time tryin to decide which strain to get! TGA and Subcool have so many good strains. I picked up a pack of Vortex beans after Subcool was like "Get Vortex man...It's my favorite, that's why I entered it!" Im stoked and can't wait to pop them!

Oh yeah, that True OG from Elemental Wellness....it's bomb. That's my fav shop and I can testify that is the real deal if you like Indica.

I planted 4/10 beans and 2 of those popped. Plans are to grow those out to be moms and hopefully I will be vending cuttings of them to a dispensary here in San Jose. I will probably go ahead and pop the other 6 beans as I have no doubts I can get more. One of my favorite dispensaries says they should be carrying TGA's gear w/i a week or so.
