4' 4 bulb T5's vs 90w UFO LED

been contemplating on getting rid of my t5's for some leds. been reading soooooo much shit on the web my fucking head is spinnnning. ive been thinking id get rid of my 2 4 foot-ers and get a 90w UFO for veg. would that 90w ufo be enough light? would i have to buy 2? im strictly veg indoors so im looking what color/watt would be best to replace my t5s. ive been reading all kinds of different websites filled with their mumbojumbo thats just plain ol fucking confusing. currently have a growlab 80L with a small dayton blower. positive input will be greatly appreciated.


ive searched here and im just plain tired of fucking reading right now, so id figured id post before my brain konks out and i start dreaming about fucking lumens, spectrums, watts, and all that shit.

so you only veg indoors, and flower outside? i have been seeing a lot of theses comparison grows and it seems like the leds are really great for veg. i think you would have to get two of the ufos, just because the footprint wont be anything close to that of the t5s. i am currently using t5s and am thinking about getting a couple 205 watt leds to replace them. check this thread out https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=160480. let us know what your gonna do.

my 90w ufos kick ass in veg extremely fast and healthy i helpem out in flower with some cfls but if ur just using for veg you will be very happy id get 2 depending on how many plants and how large of a space u have

the growlab 80L is 2'7''x4'11''. and im looking to veg around 50 plants in there. any idea of what colors to use? red/blue mix? all blue? where online is the best deal with a decent warranty? thanks for the input guys.

stoney...are you still running them 18/6? ive read to give them less light...but that doesnt make sense to me. i THINK regardless of what kind of light, 18/6 is a good veg light cycle.

Also liking my 2 UFO's.. I went with the quad band and my plants seem to love it. Its my first time and very impressed so far, check these out..
