Freinds in Jail Thread.

I have a friend in Prison and she will be there a long time more.

I was wondering if anyone wants to shout out to my friend. I think that would be a nice thing to include in my next letter.

I will include up to one page of comments so please try to keep your Shouts to a few lines so I can fit more people shouting out on that page.
I will also note your User-name unless you specify something different.

I will cut off the shouts at one page so first post here is the first post on the letter with the limit of shouts at one page.
I can always make the font small to try and fit as many in as possible.

-----

I thank you. This should brighten her day. You can say things like hang in there Renee or Ernst is a great guy..

Obviously if you rag on me or her I will not include your comments.

I personally wish to thank you ahead of time for contributing positive energy.
I am one of her only friends that still writes so she has come to accept my letters as a part of her emotional support system. I am happy that a bit of paper and ink can be so valuable.
Your comments will share this effort.

I will post replies if she decides to respond. I will tell her she can keep it short to save my fingers too much work but I will transmit whatever she decides to say to you all.

Condition your body, strengthen your mind, and do your own time. Don't take any favors, and don't rock the boat.

Physical exercise like crunches, push ups, shoulder dips, squats, and anything else you can do in your cell will help to pass the time. Keep track of how many reps of each you do daily, and try to slowly increase your regimen. Lots of small sets rather than a few long ones is better overall. A good goal is 300 reps of each exercise over the course of one day. It might take a while to get there, but you'll feel great!

Take advantage of the library, reach as much history and non fiction as you can. Take a few courses if they are offered, often inmates can complete correspondence style credits during their time. Even if you're educated, never stop learning. It'll keep your mind occupied and healthy. By doing this your time will also go much faster!

Be strong, and never forget that those who loved you before, will still love you after. When you feel alone, remember there are many people who care and think about you, no matter how far away they are. Be true to yourself!

Howdy Rene. It is hot here at my house and I just picked some tomatoes that were ripe. Pretty early for tomatos, so I am stoked. I mowed the yard today and got nearly burnt to a crisp. I had to stick my head under the faucet to keep going... Now I sorta feel like a baked lobster... lol. The blackberries are just starting to get ripe in the fence rows. I have a thrush that built a nest under my car cover and hatched out some kids on top of my old Ford in the driveway... hahaha I think I will name them Ford, Lincoln, and Continental.

Hey Renee,
now is a good time to work on your potentials, Che gave some very good advice. get into a regimen that eventually leads you to being busy and productive (whether exercising or studying, being creative w/hobbies, etc) appx 11-12 hours per day 7 days per week. If you can keep busy 12 hours a day that's 12 hours you can't be getting into any mischief of course, that's the kind of behavior to earn you an early release; and when you do get out and have to work only 8 hours a day 5 days a week it'll feel like your on vacation.......

The busier you keep yourself the faster it will go, if you sit & stew in pity time will will be an adversary, I surely hope your time passes quickly.

sorry to hear about that, but keep your head up, and remember there is always things to look forward to, and most of the times when things like this happen, it is a way that the guy upstairs tests us. peace and love to you and yours.
