sure you can i like to veg 8wks atleast if height is an issue you can just keep topping and will have great results

In most hydro SOG's I have done the clones had no veg time at all, straight on to 12/12, no problems. This ensures good light penetration to the entire plant, top to bottom bud.

However in my current run I vegged the clones for 1 week then on to 12/12, mind you I ramped up the lamp to 1000W.

Yes you can...some people keep a "mother" plant for years and years. Just keep the light on hours up...18-20 hours.

You can also grow a "mother", take clones, and veg one or more of the clones into a new "mother"...it keeps the size down. A 2-3 y/o plant get's BIG!
