Yes, a plant in lower intensity light will suffer over fert if it's being fed the same strength a plant in higher intensity light is thriving on.

Heres a few GrowFaqs with the info you're looking for...
For gh flora series three part nutes, for beginners I suggest the 321, 222, 123 recipes...

Many growers like the lucas formula...

We have most of the old overgrow GrowFaqs online here at icmag btw...

In soil I would feed every third watering,
No your 250 isn't low light, it's just not anywhere as intense as a 1000, thus the plants uptake needs will not be needing as strong a mix as a plant under a 1000.

Yes, great stuff as chem nutes go, the gh 3 part flora series is the old school tried and true stuff if you're looking at using chem ferts.

Theres always the non chem route though, like guanos or poop soups such as earth juice etc.

If you have good aged tap water without chlorine or chloramines, then you'd probably do fine without the magical
by just adding in the 1/8th to 1/4th teaspoon epsom salts per gallon of mixed gh nutes.
And you might not even need that if your soil has enough dolomite lime in it, so watch the plants for signs of needing more mag.

Good tap water has plenty of calcium in it as well as the gh having calcium in it already.

Running gh in soil, I've always had fine results and never needed anything in addition with the exception of pH adjusters if and when needed.
Phosphoric acid as a pH down and occasionally a very tiny dash of potassium silicate (ProTekt) as a pH up.

Proceed with Caution...
Label recommended amounts on the bottles are usually way too strong for our plants.
1/2 the label proportions are usually plenty strong enough.

Note the directions I gave in the faq, including *diluting the final mix to the desired ec" for your plants.
This will depend on how old or large the plants are, and how often you're feeding.
