Im a newbee to but I'm pretty sure that this sounds like it may dry your product to fast. I'd recommend so more reading and or hopefuly an old timer around here will clue us both in.

I would not use a fan on my bud as it's drying. This will open your buds instead of having them dry tighter. I would use a dehumidifier to keep the RH low and a heater if it's cold, but again a heater can dry your buds to fast.

you can turn off the fan.i all ways keep a fan on my fresh cut, more of a chance to get mold with stagnant air.

YES! YES! YES!

this is EXACTLY why I fan dry my erkle, grape ape, gdp, which have ridiculously TIGHT nugs, it really improves the "burnability"......but for my kush's, blue dreams, chocolope, etc,...I hang the clipped branches and let em slow dry, or they just get POOFY.

GREAT point to bring up!

SLOW DRYING RULES

SLOW DRYING RULES

Slower drying, better buds, more solid structure...
Faster drying (fans, heaters, sun...) you will have buds that turn into dust when crumbling with your fingers.

Take time when drying. 14 days, in darkness, with mild air circulation. Kind of if you dry it in a closet, you need 2 holes, one at the bottom for intake, and one hole at the top of closet for outlet. If too hot, put PC fan in outlet hole.

Do not use microwaves and stuff. it shrinks the bud, kills some thc. Very pointless if you spend 4 months of growing and then destroy it all by inpatience. All you need is another 14 days...
SLOW DRYING IS THE BEST.

i have a little cabinet with a fan attached to a carbon filter... thefan is on very, very low, always bringing new air into the enclosure. This produces wonderful results in combination with sweating the buds. Just be careful not to have the fan on too high or else you will dry too fast. I aim for 7 - 10 days, but it depends on the buds.

nope, sorry

FAST dry, SLOW CURE

THATS how ya make smooth, sweet, incredodank, I mean who dries it till it's all crumbly and crispy? what are you NEW?

never let the RH drop below 60% in the cure, but for the dry, you want that water OUT, NOW.

slow drying, and slow curing are TOTALLY different actions, and you all should know better, a 14 day DRYING period is just ASKING for mold to develop.
