Hello all, I've been searching the net for the answer to this question for a while now whith no luck so I'm hoping to get a pro from icmag to chime in.
Background- I bought some. Untested "female" seeds a few years back. The cross was an accidental breeding between two famous clone only plants. Supposedly one hermied and pollinated the other.
The issue- this is the third time I've sprouted the original seeds. First was an outside grow where atleast one ended up a full blown male. No problem I thought I must have mixed up my numbering the plants when they were seedlings. The second grow was all females as I had expected. This grow I popped the last three and they all are full on males!
My question- is it possible for a seed that came from two female clones to be male? Or is it more likely these were labeled as female seeds when they actually were mistakenly pollinated by a male plant. Thank you in advance for any help.
Ps. I'm not going to mention the breeders name (very popular breeder on icmag) because I'm not trying to start trouble, just hoping for an answer to my question.
