Yellow Drooping Leaves - Seedlings Week 2

I have some Mandala #1 seedlings who are in week two of veg. They are doing pretty well growth rate wise but they have a very light yellow color. It does not look natural but to my beginner eye I'm not sure if it is strain specific or not. A couple of the leaves are also pretty droopy but not all of them.

I am growing these under a 1000W MH although for the first week of growth they were under a Fleuroscent T8 fixture. The temps are pretty constant around 80 degrees (I've heard this is perfect temp for this strain) and they are being watered only when they are completely dry. We are using a moisture meter to double check. They are being grown in mini party cups in FF Light warrior.
At first I thought it may be lack of nutrition but these really have not been in the soil or even growing for that long. The cotelydon's should provide enough food for the first few weeks of growth correct?

Sorry for the bad quality pics - It's with a cell phone as I some how lost the charger to my quality camera (in the mail though :D)

Any diagnosis or help is greatly appreciated!
:thank you: IC

you should be fine for at least 2 weeks with no nutes. i do this every run. usually if they are yellwoing and wilting this is a sign of over watering.

I really don't think overwatering is a problem here.. We had that problem before and are trying our hardest to wait until they are completely dry. We are using the lift method AND double checking with a moisture meter so I think our moisture levels are pretty good.

They started to change once they were put under the 1000W MH bulb - They were doing fine under the T8's.

BUMP!
Please help with this IC, I will be putting them back under the fleuro's today and transplanting them into 1/2 G grow bags that ARE NOT clear as I read this will burn roots that are shown to the light. As of now no roots are really showing through the sides though, only the bottom where the light can't shine :D

Update:
The runoff ph for the cups before we transplanted was 7.1.
The runoff ph for the half gal grow bags (filled with FFOF, FFLW, and Perlite -- 50/25/25) was 7.0.

I know this is a little bit high considering, but I have a hard time believing this would be the major problem I am running into. We put them back under the fluorescent light to see how that affects them.

Startlingly enough, we just put our Skunkman sprouts under yesterday, and woke up this morning to see that they might have yellowed a bit since their previous lighting. Could all this discoloration have something to do with our 1000W MH light? Possibly something I am overlooking?

Most of what I've read about seed germination says that low light is more productive than bright light.

Here is an old 1963 Florida University article with an actual field test. The seeds under shade (' 1 curtain' ie screen) did better than 2 screens or bright sunlight. So too little light is not good either.

I don't know about the yellowing -they look brownish- but I would put them back under the flourescent. It can only help. Those mandalas are very vigorous. I have some at 3 weeks in cheap potting soil and they are twice the size of yours. Good luck.

I used low light (the fluoro's) for germination. My problem was when I put them under the big light. They are definetly yellow but have a bit of brown too, they are healing up though! :D

Calm down- those seedlings will be OK.
My number one new motto is - dont try too hard.

Theres nobody around here during the week except us idle geezers. Don't answer this post until Saturday afternoon or evening.

Everybody is learning from one another. The experts with 10,000
posts will learn from you. I dont like the paper towel plan.
What do you do with them when they sprout ?
They cannot go into a RW cube without breaking.
No - I remember - slit the RW cube in two and drop the
emerging seedling in between and tie the two halves together.

Not enough time is spent here on the seedling stage.

Keep cool - everything is going to be OK.

too much light for a young seedling, they look like that because they used all there nutrients up to fast. only advice i can give u is dont let seedlings dry out they will die. next time wait until they are about a month old to use your 1000 watter.
