Trubble (Trainwreck x Bubblegum)

Interesting new cross of Trainwreck and Indiana Bubblegum. It's very much bubblegum bud structure and trich profile with the darker green yet gold trainwreck flower. It clearly tastes like trainwreck on inhale and bubblegum aftertaste as you exhale. It also has a distinct immediate bubblegum high that then leads to a comfortable warm stone but won't knock ya out unless you smoke 2-3 bowls in a row. Smoking more than 1.2g in a sitting leads everyone that's smoked it to get hit by the train and wrecked for hours roughly 45 mins after smoking.

Interesting part is supposedly the Trainwreck was the father, but to my knowledge there isn't an original Trainwreck male. I know there is Wreckage and A-Train that are hybrids of trainwreck that are regular sexed. But this tastes like original trainwreck with Indiana bubblegum. Could be A-Train but I'm gonna look into this deeper.

I've seen this ol timer grow some of the best Indiana Bubblegum or any bubblegum I've ever seen. But I don't really see him being the type to do a forced female cross from any of the straight trainwreck feminized lines. Infact, he hates feminized genetics. So I'm thinking that it's A-Train, but I've never known him to lie about his genetics.

Will be posting pics soon. Camera has been messin up.

Updated Info:

Only the breeder has the current cut, and it just finished it's first run from feminized cross seeds recently. Interested in seeing if this goes somewhere, it's a great cross. He is testing another run to decide on the final mother of this amazing new cross. Turns out it is a female on female cross with the Trainwreck forced pollen. Supposedly Arcata Trainwreck, but he has had it for years but keeps all of it himself and it's most definitely a true Trainwreck, and he doesn't lie about his cuttings, so I'm sure this is definitely Trainwreck forced female pollen on a True Indiana Bubblegum female.

Well here's some pics of this lovely new hybrid and a little more info on how it came into existence.

Well I found out how this cross came to be last night. Turns out that he did infact cross two females for this mix, although I was right that he didn't use CS. Apparently he let the Arcata go for about 2-3 weeks past it's normal time, let it banana-sack and collected the pollen. It was then applied to the Original Indiana Bubblegum. The resulting seeds were feminized. This cut and the buds shown are from his choice cut out of running 20 seeds from this cross.

Kaskar - Good luck with the bubblegum, it's a great strain. Not the most potent strain ever, but amazingly tasty with a strong day-time buzz and if you actually find the 'Indiana' cut, it's one of the frostiest around, the seed company's reproductions have never come close to the original. Original Bubblegum is the perfect combo of body and head high.

Abja - The Indiana Bubblegum that he has looks like all the other definitive 'Indiana' bubblegum I have seen over the years. It is outrageously drenched in crystals, and the high it produces is the perfect combo of a nice semi-up high that kicks in immediately, settling in, it gets a lot more stoney, but is by no means a 'knock-out' IMO, but I tend to favor Indica's and it's gotta be extremely stoney to knock me down. So I'm probably kinda biased, I know quite a few people who smoke his Bubblegum and laugh hard for the first hour or so but by the end of hour 2 they are knocked out. As far as duration, the high usually lasts for a good 2.5hrs. before tapering off, and it doesn't have a 'hangover' feeling afterwards but I can still tell I definitely smoked bubblegum 4-5 hours after initially smoking it.

This Trubble cross has that bubblegum feeling immediately, and the trainwreck seems to creep it's way in after about an hour. Really interesting cross, it's truly beautiful as well. Definitely not the best hybrid I've ever smoked, but a damn fine one that seems like it'll be sticking around the Appalachian mountains for awhile, as he is very proud of this one.

Look out for Trubble

Agreed that it sounds interesting. I like the choice for the cross and the name :)

Maybe they used Heads Trainwreck bx I ....you never know. I don't know of anyone else who has worked on a Trainwreck project.

How is the bubblegum that he has in terms of high effect/duration?

I Updated the original post to include the pics and let everyone know the new info I got from the breeder about this amazing new cross. Appreciate Everyone's interest in it. Another good thing to come out of an area that some people think doesn't produce quality product and crosses. Well here's another example of another great new hybrid from my neck of the woods.

damn looks super dank, always wanted to try the Indy BG being that I am right next door but still have yet to find her!

It usually depends on if you live to the east or to the west of Indiana. It seems like almost everyone who has true cuts are east-wards. Honestly I've only known one person on the IL side that had a cut of it. It's all over, just gotta find it. Takes good people and good intentions, but if you find it, cherish it. Not the MOST potent although it is pretty f'n nasty, but it's one of the most enjoyable "all day" buzzes IMO and has a distinct pure bubblegum flavor, it's very tasty.

For the area's strains I still prefer BubbleStar (Indiana Bubblegum x Ohio DeathStar). One of the frostiest and dense strains that is far more medicinal, although this is a first try cross and a first time run, this was the selected from seed, cut that very few samples were given to very few people.

Thanks for the comments everyone, looking for feedback as this is a very new cross, like I said this is the first samples to anyone in the world. Amazing stuff. Kind of interested in what everyone is thinking. 170+ views and only 5 replies. Let's here peoples thoughts on this one, how's it look? For 100% Organic, no synth chemicals or derivatives used at all. I think it's pretty sexy.

I give it a 6/10, but I haven't found my 10 yet though, and trust me it's not from lack of not trying very much variety, it's because of to much variety. ;). Although I'm always looking at the medical side as well, as I mainly use it as cannabis as a painkiller and for panic disorder, but still enjoy the recreational side. This is a great strain for anxiety and depression as well as mild pain relief.

The foothills of the Appalachians. Near the toxic cancer-ridden river of my home state, just barely into the land of the 'Mountaineers'.

Thanks for the feedback.

BedBug

Looks and sounds really nice.

I heard Trainwreck has a tendency to herm, perhaps that where your friend got the pollen from?
