Yeah, it was an amazing plant (hope the results are just as amazing, I'll know in a few weeks). It was grown in a 3 gallon Smart Pot.

Nice grow ops everybody! I'm getting back into the hobby after a few years away from it and Ive been curious about something:
I've got a 250 watt HPS in my closet that measures 2.5ft X 5.5ft X 8ft tall. My tops are anywhere from 9-15 inches from the bulb. My question is what is the max distance from the tops to the bulb where I should still get proper results? My floor space is long enough to fit more plants, they will just be a tad farther from the bulb. I know I've read that as close as possible is best but IN YOUR EXPERIENCE what is too far away? And what were the negative effects of the added distance?

I think the goal is to keep the tops 6-8" from the top of the buds. Further away - less density, less yield, less Grade A, more airy buds, especially as you go down the plant away from the light.
